EXOTIC restaurante & cocktails. — Restaurant in Calp

Avoid at all cost. The 2 tables walking out before drinks arriving, fans not working and the group of heavily drunk teens taking turns to go throw up in the bathroom (and still getting fed shots) should have been an indicator. Decided to stay as we let our hunger get the best of us and our first choices were full. Food was horrible, club sandwich was dry, stale bread, schnitzel obviously pre cooked and had been sitting out for a while before being squashed together. Croquettes topped with micro-cress going brown and sad, croquettes also had a sour taste. Pepperoni pizza was “ok” but the bacon on it was barely cooked and seemed broiled and there was minimal actual pepperoni on it.

The 2 guys behind bar didn’t seem to care that much and was just a place to “hang out” for them, 1 kept wiping and picking his nose and then proceeding to touch top of glasses and make drinks (stopped counting after the 6th time less than 5 min) some guy who seemed like a manager stepped behind the bar towards the end of our time there. Didn’t seem phased or interested in helping or fixing or interacting with guests. Just stared out from the bar without any care.

The only reason I give it any stars is because of 1 floor member (believe name was Alex) Only one who seemed to be making any effort, out of the 5/6 that were there, checking if things were ok with tables they served, trying to get fans workings, clearing...

Hace unos días nos decidimos a comer allí por primera vez con unos amigos, entramos a las 14:25h.

Pedimos de primeros platos, bravas, calamares, una ensalada y pescaditos fritos; todo producto congelado y de mediocre calidad.

La camarera que nos atendió iba muy perdida, paseando nuestros principales por todas las mesas menos por la nuestras...y cuando llegaron ya estaban medio fríos.

De segundos pedimos para compartir una paella valenciana para dos, una lubina y pechugas de pollo; no sacaron ninguno de los platos a la vez.....sacaron primero el pollo que cuando ya se lo había terminado sacaron la paella y a los 20 minutos de la paella la lubina, y aquí vino lo bueno......LA PAELLA...por llamarla de alguna manera era LA PEOR PAELLA QUE HE PROBADO EN MIS 35 AÑOS DE VIDA. Nada más verla ...era de un color amarillo radiactivo y con un tipo de espuma por encima ( dios no quiera saber lo que era) ....la impresión era malísima....pero aún así le dimos una oportunidad y la probé...y sabia a caldo de pescado con un sabor muy raro....por lo que decidimos dejarnosla y quejarnos a la camarera.....está vino y después de ponernos malas caras finalmente nos la retiró y le pedimos pechugas de pollo por irnos si se podía decir "bien comidos" .......cuando al rato de retirarnos la paella radiactiva trajeron la Lubina, hay que decir que por la parte de fuera tenía buena pinta pero al abrirla....ESTABA ABSOLUTAMENTE CRUDA!! Y mas después de estar esperando mucho tiempo a que se lo trajeran.....por lo que decidimos coger el plato...llevárselo a la camarera.....indicarle que estaba cruda y que nos sacara la cuenta que nos íbamos sin comer.

Nos trajeron la cuenta....70€!!! Pero habían rebajado a 40€ por 4 platos congelados y 4 bebidas....ya que nos querían cobrar 3 menús y algo....nos quejamos, vino otra camarera ( dijimos que viniera el encargado pero no se dignó a aparecer) y nos dijo que pagásemos lo que considerásemos....finalmente pagamos 20€ y sin comer a las 16:45h.....

Por suerte para el restaurante, tenían un robot muy bonito, que les hace perder el tiempo sin valer para nada....tiempo que podría ganar en ofrecer un buen servicio a sus clientes.

Por nuestra parte .....no nos van a volver a...

Just went here, ordered a shisha and it tasted of nothing and in fact made me cough every time when using it. So, I decided to ask manager what he could do about it and he tried it and also couldn’t bare it and was also coughing after using it. I asked for a refund and he said no he can’t do anything about it because ‘that’s how it tastes’. This isn’t a surprise because the bar next door called tango was full of customers whereas this exotic bar was very empty so I’m sure I’m not the first person to encounter this VERY VERY POOR manager. I advise anyone to go to tango or anywhere else instead of going to exotic bar, it’s disgraceful and the owner should be...
