Ok where do I start, there were so many things wrong with our visit. We stood at the entrance waiting to be seated, waitress just kept walking past us, she had also seen me and my son park my motorbike at the entrance as we walked in but decided to continue with putting knives and forks on tables. The place was not even a third full. It was very hot and I was starting to regret walking into the place already. Finally we’re shown to one of the tables, we had to find menus on another table as maybe she forgot we had just been seated? Another wait for drinks, so I’m guessing 20 mins and we haven’t been served anything, and certainly not the drinks. Finally she takes our order, my son grew up here and speaks better Spanish than most, my Spanish is decent certainly for restaurant orders, but she kept replying in pretty rubbish English at best., just found it a bit strange and certainly not welcoming! Another 20 mins later our food arrives, so we have now been there over 50 mins. Food arrives and the guy is walking around the restaurant asking whose food it is , my son and I are shouting louder and louder, aqui aqui ! He arrives almost shouting at us that he didn’t know what table it was for!! REALLY! It lands on our table and burgers are cold, I’m just about ready to walk out but so hungry that we eat the burgers order a Cortado and the bill, which of course they forget and again having to ask three times just to pay and get out of there. Even if they have given us the meal free I would never set foot in that again, the Spanish staff in particular were rude, impolite and have no I no idea how important their kid is for the owners and their clients experience. I would never have them working in a business of nine. Absolute rubbish from top to bottom.Avoid this place like the plague it’s similar feeling to...

We've been visiting this restaurant for many years, since it's early days, and seen such an improvement in its surroundings and its food, both in winter and summer. After our latest experience we certainly won't be back! The last 3 or 4 times, though, I have noticed a deterioration in standards, particularly with the staff. I had a table booked last night but was not made aware of a double booking when I called. On arrival, there were 2 names on the table, and the waitress said yes, we had a 3 hour slot and needed to vacate for the next booking. Actually they'd given us 2 and a half hours. I said that wasn't enough time as we want to have drinks, eat and enjoy our evening. She said Enjoy Your Evening and walked away. We sat at the bar whilst we waited on on friends. That was an eye-opener! We saw a waiter in the clearing part of the kitchen eating fries (or something) off the dirty plates before putting the rest of the scraps in the bin. We also saw servers taking food from plates in the kitchen before taking plates to the table. We saw several staff hanging around the bar area smoking, which is a bit off-putting. When our friends arrived, we were seated at our table by a rather arrogant and rude waiter who informed us that we now have 2 hours and 15 minutes to have our meal. This restaurant is obviously making enough money that it doesn't need customer service, so we decided it didn't need our custom. I am truly disappointed by yet another bad experience here and therefore...

Sat down with 1 friend in a table for six after asking the waiter, cause it was outside and was the only one with heating and he said no problems as there weren't many people. Time to have a beer and a bunch of blokes comes up and sits at our table led by a waitress, all without masks and already drunk. I tell her I'm not really happy with this seeing were in the middle of a pandemic and one of the guys starts saying "here is normal this is a table for 6 and now we're only 5" and I reply that I might normal, but not in the middle of a flipping pandemic! He then says "hey, he's the owner" point at one of the others that sat down with him and continued "he's the owner so it's fine, nothing to do"

At this point I'm going blind and ask them if the police would agree with that (with no intention of calling them, but for them to move) here the big starts speaking in dutch reacting to what I just said and with no intention to move, asked the waitress to get us 2 more drinks. I stood up and told the waitress he could invite us the ones we just had and left. My friend, more leveled, went and paid. When not even the owner respects safety measures......

My mother in law treated her whole family including grandchildren (14 in total!) To a villa holiday in Calpe. We stumbled across Grizzly's on one of our walks (which also happened to be only a 15min walk from our villa) and decided to have lunch here. We hadn't reserved a table, yet the staff managed to put some tables together to fit us in. The options for food and drinks were brilliant, from childrens choices to adult main meals. Portion sizes were amazing as well. All our food was served quickly and drinks were prompt. Everything from the staff to the food, the whole atmosphere was simply amazing. So much so, that some of us went there again the following evening for drinks and all 14 of us are intending on going back again for a second big family meal. Can not recommend this place enough!

Went here whilst staying in the area on holiday for a week. It’s very busy so we had to make a reservation. We ordered our drinks and waited some time for them to arrive, but didn’t think much of this. However, when the staff were taking our orders they had a very dismissive attitude and weren’t really welcoming, seemed like they would’ve rather been anywhere else. Our food was nice but nothing to rave about and following the meal we couldn’t get the attention of any staff and no one came to check on us so we approached the bar to pay, on our way out a staff member also barged by us in a rush only to place some cutlery on a table near the exit. A very busy place with a good atmosphere in a decent location but the staff don’t seem to enjoy it and this is shown in the service.
