RISTORANTE PIZZERIA AMALFI “Da Michele”. — Restaurant in Calp

I love this restaurant, I have been eating here from the last 4 to 5 years. Every time I travel to Calpe, I make sure I visit this place. It is like a family and the food is one of the best in town. If you love fresh fish try the Sea Bass and the Swordfish, both deliciously testy. I loved the Focaccia. That Seafood Spaghetti, is a real treat, really delightful. For me one of their best kept secret is the Limoncello and one of the best Espresso and Cappuccino in town. I cant wait to see you again. Love you and...

As with other reviewers I can confirm that the service was very friendly and I never felt neglected.

Unfortunately the food was poor. I can only comment on the dishes which my partner and I ordered. The best of these was a salad. We both ordered pizza and found it very disappointing. It simply didn't have delicious, crispy, chewy base of a freshly baked pizza.

This isn't an expensive place so I don't want to be too unkind. However, I would kindly suggest other diners...

Restaurante Amalfi, Calpe 📍

Anoche fuimos a cenar al restaurante Amalfi, tras leer distintas recomendaciones de celiacos recomendandolo, aún así iba con pocas expectativas ya siempre opto por esta opción para no llevarme desilusión.

Y cual fue mi sorpresa! Que pizza más rica me pude comer. Previamente llamé por teléfono para que me conformarán como lo hacían y me dijeron que la masa era congelada y envasada, y que podía estar tranquila.

Ademas al llegar la chica que nos atendió me indicó que ella no es celiaca pero es sensible al gluten, que usa como dos hornos, y el de las pizzas sin gluten esta en la parte de arriba a separado, aun asi usan un placa para que que no toque en si el el horno.

Me dijeron que podía elegir la pizza que quisiera y como casi siempre opté por una caprichosa. QUE RICA, de verdad!!! Mi hija no celiaca, probó las otras 4 pizzas de la mesa todas con gluten y su preferida fue la mia.. ella tiene muy buen paladar al igual que yo apesar de ser una renacuaja de 4 añitos.. disfruté muchísimo y estoy contentísima de tener un sitios de tan buena calidad apto para celiacos.

En Amalfi, en esta ocasión no pedimos entrantes ni postres ya que estos días de vacaciones estamos comiendo mucho y no podemos forzar más, pero me indicaron que podría pedir como entrantes los distintos carpachos y ensaladas.

Trato muy cercano, y excelente, nos sentimos todos genial....
