L.A American Diner — Restaurant in Calvià

Coming from the outside and have read reviews on Google about this place, the expectations were a bit high. The atmosphere is a stereotypical "american" experience with the signs on the walls, American flag strung from the one side of the restaurant to the other. Typical American music from different genres play throughout the restaurant. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and was gutted over the presentation and the taste of it - a very synthetic and watery in taste experience. For my starter I ordered mozzarella sticks. It came in a nice presentation of the classic fry basket, with a mustard dip on the side. You could immediately tell these were frozen mozzarella sticks. I ordered a california burger and the chicken seemed slimy/watery when cutting into, which worried me. Perhaps it was due to it being frozen before cooking. The only good thing about my meal was the fries, which once again were frozen fries with a bit of spice on top. The staff is very friendly and try to speak with you in an American accent. I recently dined here and had an outstanding experience, largely thanks to our waitress, Lian. From the moment we walked in, Lian made us feel welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. Her excellent customer service truly stood out.

Lian’s professionalism and genuine friendliness made our meal more enjoyable. She ensured that everything was perfect, checking in on us regularly without being intrusive. Her hard work and dedication to providing excellent service are commendable, and the owner of the restaurant should be proud to have such a fantastic team member.

Was excited to come to this place after walking past it many times,even looking at the menu a lady came past us and said it was the best place to eat in palma nova. Me and my partner thought we would give it a try,. I had the chicken burger which was delicious and my partner had the full rack Of ribs. Food and atmosphere was lovely but what wasn’t lovely was my partner throwing it all back up again a couple of hours later. This is disappointing as it was a lot of money spent for it all just to the thrown back up! Possibly some type of food poisoning or uncooked meat. Was excited to return here later in the week before we returned home but I think we will pass...
