A quirky restaurant in a lovely location. This restaurant was founded almost 100 years ago and is in a pedestrian only street by the shops.
We didn’t like how close the tables outside were together.
My wife ordered a sangria and it came in a pint glass, which she didn’t like. Each time we ordered from the waiter he either missed something or got it wrong.
The overall impression was that the restaurant and the waiters had been there a very long time and that customers were taken for granted. We were not particularly looked after and it all seems like a restaurant of yesteryear that needs new life...
Read moreI wanted calamari for lunch and noticed that theirs looked very good as we walked by. We returned about an hour later and three of us started with olives, bread, aioli & drinks. We shared calamari, potatas bravas & a palm heart salad as a main course. Their house wines, especially the cava & sangria, were very good. When we ask if the gelato place next door was associated our waiter sent over the gelato server and the cost was included in our bill. A nice touch. Read moreAsked to see a menu, waiter proceeded to rattle off things on the menu, we decided to go for the paella, and 2 drinks of a sangria & a beer. Sangria came in a pint glass, no fruit or straw. When paella arrived it was more like a risotto, with just a few pieces of meat in it. We asked for the bill, the waiter just stood by our table and scribbled on his pad & said €46!!!! I think I was in shock at the time as we didn’t question it. I think they make up the prices as they go along, we worked out that they must’ve charged €10 for the beer! Avoid...
