My family and I recently enjoyed dining at El Rancho de Cabo de Palos in Murcia, Spain, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. One aspect of our visit that genuinely stood out was the impeccable service provided by the staff, particularly a waiter with exceptional English skills. He attentively listened to our preferences and skillfully recommended delightful menu options that catered to each member of our diverse group, which included a vegetarian, a meat lover, a fish enthusiast, and a child with specific tastes. His thoughtful suggestions made us all feel welcome and ensured we were thoroughly satisfied with our dining choices. The culinary highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the exquisite cuisine. Every dish we sampled showcased the remarkable culinary expertise of the restaurant's kitchen. The wine selection was divine, complementing our meal perfectly. The steak, in particular, was a revelation, melting in our mouths and paired with a creamy black pepper sauce that was nothing short of outstanding. Even our vegetarian daughter was thrilled to discover a beautifully presented and flavorful dish that exceeded her expectations. The culinary mastery displayed throughout our meal left us in awe, and we are confident that the outstanding food at El Rancho de Cabo de Palos deserves the highest accolades, perhaps even a Michelin star. Additionally, the warm cheesecake we enjoyed as a sweet finale was a star in its own right, capping off our meal with a burst of indulgent flavour. I cannot overlook the commendable work of the two female cooks, whose dedication and talent were evident in every dish that graced our table. Their culinary creations truly elevated our dining experience and left a lasting impression on all of us. In conclusion, our visit to El Rancho de Cabo de Palos was an unforgettable culinary journey that exceeded our expectations: the exceptional service, outstanding cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a truly memorable evening. We are eager to return to this unique restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience in Murcia, Spain.

🖋@ismagnar

Superbly designed experience - essentially a huge mixed grill of meat on a table griddle, complete with hot coals. Eat and continue to reheat at your leisure. The ribs and steak were a particularly tasty cut although I suspect ordering them separately results in an even better one. The mixed grill (paradilla) is like a taster menu, essentially. Just Be aware that in August if you don’t reserve in advance you will be lucky to get to sit on the terrace which with your table bbq is going to get quite hot 😂 and the meat coma after is real. And desserts are massive. Worth it, however. Strongly recommend one of the best restaurants in la manga. And a nice variety to mostly Spanish chiringuitos.

The food was awesome, the experience was terrible. I had received a 50€ voucher from a friend for my birthday. She had gone to El Rancho and paid the 50€ for which she received a ticket with a business card of the restaurant attached. When we asked for the bill and paid with the voucher and extra cash, they refused the voucher, and said it was not valid because it didn't say 'voucher' on the ticket. First of all, THEY gave us the ticket for the 50€, so how are we to know it should say 'voucher' on it. Secondly, how else do they think we received this ticket? What had been a wonderful lunch with friends ended into a discussion and all of us feeling cheated and frustrated. We felt like criminals trying to get away with not paying for a meal. My friend who paid for the ticket lost her 50€ and I lost my birthday gift and the rest of the party was very stressed and angry as we left the restaurant. The people at El Rancho said they would look into it, but I have serious doubts that this will result in our...

We’ve dined here on several occasions over the last few years , really happy with the quality/service and food

On Sunday July 19, 2020 we arranged to meet some friends, a total of 8 people,

Unfortunately the service was less than satisfactory, several times we had leave the table and ask if we could be served , it's was all very apparent that the staff where not really interested in serving or working, constantly talking with each other near the bar

When we asked for the bill this even appeared to be a great effort but to top it all they took the decision to short change us ,

The staff only had 4 tables to deal with , It was a really good job the restaurant was not busy as i would imagine the enjoyable evening spent with friends would have been a total disaster

The restaurant staff would do well to have some in house training or professional training to be attentive and responsive...
