Yemanjá — Restaurant in Cartagena

Was brought here by a friend, and her recommendation was surpasses. Very busy and all outside tables seemed to be reserved. Owner asked if we would like to sit inside until a table outside was available. We agreed and on entering I was amazed by the interior, a big collection of what seemed to be souvenirs from someone’s travels. I could have gladly stayed inside just to take in the various carvings etc. on moving outside we were served the most delicious food. The pork cheek was melt in the mouth with a very tasty sauce and roasted potato wedges. The owner was very very friendly , accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommended, and I only regret we will not have time...

We tried to be critical when reviewing, but both heart and head love this place. The Owner is lovely, the atmosphere on the harbour is little bubble of a 'Chill Zone' where you can watch everyone wander by dressed in rubber (you will understand, when you visit). Yemanja has good music and the food is great. Don't order the 'Pulled Pork Baguette' in case they run out for when we return again, and...

Stopped here just for a little bite while wandering around the harbour and oh my god we didn't expect this. It is STUNNING food, the Goats Cheese with Honey, Crunchy Onions... It was just sublime! Amazing service, attentive and got my mum a fan when they saw she was very hot. Friendly and smiling. Genuinely SUCH a good...
