Yellow submarine — Restaurant in Cartagena

NEVER EVER COME HERE! It is a complete tourist trap, we had the worst experience EVER! First of all the waitress was absolutely horrible with us, she was mean and angry for whatever reason. Then we order a paella with vegetables for 2: -it took them 30 minutes to serve us. -they served us 2 desserts plates that were completely dirty. -the paella was the most disgusting thing we've ever tried. The rice was burned, the plate was filled with water, there was no seasoning at all AND the best, the vegetables were basically first price canned supermarket vegetable, same thing for the rice. We said to them that it was not good, the same waitress talked to us like we were 2 children or crazy persons, on the verge of insulting us. After waiting another 15 minutes, the "chef" literally came back with the whole dish, saying to us "what's the problem? We tried and it was good!". Of course it's good, it's your restaurant!!! And finally it took them another 10 minutes to come back with the bill, as we paid only for our drinks, sending to us the youngest waitress that even said any word to us. Do not come there, they don't deserve any...

4 of us had drinks and food here last night. We got ripped off. They added drinks to our bill. This was purposely done, it wasn’t a mistake as when I called the waitress over, she apologised about the drinks before I’d even raised it to her.

They see tourists and try to take advantage. Unfortunately for them we aren’t tourist, we are working here and we aren’t idiots either.

The food was also terrible fake Spanish food. I asked the girl for a plate of Jamon Iberico to share, it was packet ham.

All other bars we go to each evening have been really good quality and much better priced. There are many good restaurants and bars if you turn right or walk straight on.

WALK PAST THIS...

We walked in here and sat down and within 20 seconds of sitting the waiter (man 1) came to take our food order. We were obviously not ready to which we told him and he said drinks then. We ordered and got our drinks in a timely manor off man 2 but then man 1 decided to make us wait for the food and ordered every table around us (6tables) and we asked him (man 1) and another man (man 2) to order food as we were waiting 20 minutes. Man 2 said he would but back and man 1 proceeded to ignore us so, I asked a man 2 for the bill and then man 2 came to the table for order but we still got the bill and paid.
