Las Botas — Restaurant in Castelldefels

We were at this restaurant finally this weekend for the 1st time after passing by for 4 years ! I had Paella de marisco and my wife Gazpacho y Canoles. I really liked the paella, it was juicy, you could feel the fish stock on the rice, rice was well cooked, i dont like how other restaurants leaving the rice " al dente ". I tried gazpacho as well, very good, though price of the Gazpacho is 11 euros but 2 people can enjoy it. Paella price was good also, 18 euros. We sat at the terrace, left the kids playing at the garden while enjoying our lunch. Attention of the service was good where the restaurant was empty however we had to indicate a waiter for a bill after sometime. For the price, food and service quality is good, you get what you pay for in this restaurant. i will go once again for sure. Only suggestion to put a cover on the kids park where its getting too hot, this is a must...

Hmmm marking 2 star. Starters and mains were very good the Angus ribeye in particular as well as the Huevos Rotas. However the entrecot from the menu del dia which one person at our table ordered medium was served stone cold after asking where it was, it then returned served blue with the same stone cold potatoes. Desserts were just OK and then the forgotten bravas and drinks were billed after waiting a good 25 minutes for the first bill and asking twice. For such a renowned restaurant, surprised by the poor the level of service...

Lo primero que voy a elogiar es a Giovanni, ha sido el Señor que nos ha atendido y nos ha hecho sentir como en casa. Gracias por la atención y el servicio 😊. El restaurante es precioso 😍 tiene varios salones, todos diferentes pero a cuál más bonito. La comida está buenísima!!! De primero hemos pedido los "Frits" de la casa, chipirones, chanquetes y gambas peladas que estaba riquísimo!!! Pan de cristal que te sirven con un platito de fuet, unas olivas y unas patatas chip, y un platito con tomates y ajo para untar el pan. De segundo hemos pedido fideuá que estaba muy rica y un arroz caldoso de bogavante, pero el arroz estaba un poco pasado, una lástima porque de sabor estaba buenísimo. Cuando nos han retirado los platos y al ver qué habíamos dejado arroz le hemos comentado el por qué....nos ha sabido mal porque de verdad que hemos estado de maravilla. De postre hemos pedido las torrijas con una crema quemada por encima y un helado de leche merengada que estaba espectacular 😋 y para acabar dos cortados. De beber Giovanni nos ha preparado una sangría de vino que estaba muy muy rica 😏 La sorpresa ha venido cuando al ir a pagar nos han dicho que por lo del arroz nos invitaban al postre y los cortados ☺️ Nos ha parecido un detallazo 😍🙏🏼 GRACIAS por todo.
