Food Court / Indian Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Chiclana de la Frontera

Für uns war das indisch/europäisch/spanische Restaurant im Stil eines Chiringuitos eine spontane Zufallsentdeckung weil es nur 50 m vom kleinen Hotel "NovoMar", in dem wir nächtigten, entfernt ist. Es hat keine unmittelbare Strandlage, der wunderschöne Strand ist gleichwohl in nur 2 bis 3 min. zufuß erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeit für's Auto gibt es auf dem gegenüberliegenden, großen, freien Platz mehr als genug. Zu mittags wurden wir vom Chef persönlich äußerst freundlich mit Handschlag empfangen. Er bot uns im Pergula-Freisitz einen schönen Tisch an. Es gibt eine wohl sortierte Speisenkarte mit Essen für alle Vorlieben in spanischer und englischer Sprache. Hervorzuheben ist ein ganze Seite für rein vegetarische Gerichte. Auf der Seite für Pizzas fehlt auch keine Gemüsepizza. Die von uns gewählten Essen waren alle optisch liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckten ausnahmslos vorzüglich. Die Wartezeiten waren komfortabel kurz. Gleich zu Beginn gab es für uns Alle gemeinsam das typische indische Brot mit vier Schälchen unterschiedlicher Dips. Die Weine waren alle sehr edel im Geschmack und vorbildlich temperiert. Für Biertrinker gibt es wahlweise auch Original indisches Bier in der Flasche, das im Geschmack unseren europäischen Bieren nicht nachsteht. Das Trinkglas kam tiefgekühlt aus dem Gefrierschrank (eine feine Zusatzgeste, des immer selbst servierenden Wirts) - ein Versuch wird nicht enttäuschen. Die Bedienung ist von Anfang bis Ende wirklich sehr zuvorkommend, flink und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind für das Dargebotene sehr moderat und im Vergleich zu vielen anderen örtlichen Speiselokalen als niedrig einzustufen. Natürlich haben wir "FOOD COURT" mehrmals, auch zum Abendessen, oder kurzem Nachmittags-Kaffee besucht. An kühlen Abenden sitzt man auch innen recht angenehm in einem gemütlich eingerichteten Raum. Wir bedanken uns auch hier noch einmal für das ausgezeichnete Angebot. Ich empfehle es jedem Chiclana-Besucher wenigstens einmal dort einzukehren. Unsere Gesamtbewertung: 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍 ... For us the Indian/European/Spanish restaurant in the style of a chiringuito was a spontaneous discovery because it is only 50 m away from the small hotel "NovoMar", where we stayed. It has no immediate beach location, but the beautiful beach is only 2 to 3 minutes away accessible by foot. There is more than enough parking space for your car on the large, open space opposite. At lunchtime, the boss personally greeted us with a very friendly handshake. He offered us a nice table in the pergula patio. There is a well-stocked menucard with food for all tastes in Spanish and English languages. A whole page should be emphasized for purely vegetarian dishes. A vegetable pizza is either not missing on the pizza page. The meals we chose were all lovingly presented and tasted excellent without exception. The waiting times were comfortably short. Right from the start was presented for us all the typical Indian bread with four bowls of different dips. The wines were all very noble in taste and tempered in an exemplary manner. For beer drinkers, there is also the option of original Indian beer in the bottle, the taste of which is not inferior to our European beers. The drinking glass came frozen from the freezer (a fine additional gesture from the always self-serving local chief) - an attempt will you not disappoint. The service is really accommodating, quick and attentive from start to finish. The prices for the offered are very moderate and can be classified as low compared to many other local eateries. Of course we visited "FOOD COURT" several times, also for dinner or a short afternoon coffee. On cool evenings, you can sit comfortably inside in a nice furnished room. We would like to thank you again for the excellent offer. I recommend every Chiclana visitor to stop there at least once. Our overall rating: 5...

We had enjoyed our visit of the restaurant during our holiday two times. The dishes we had were outstanding. The service is fast and very friendly. The drinking Glases are cooled in the freezer 👍🏼 The owner makes part of the service and cooks in the kitchen. He is an Indian guy, so the Indian food seems to be very authentical (I’ve never been to India yet 😉). First time we sat outside. Outside is a TV, were we had watched the live soccer game of Spain against Italy 😅 As it has rained a lot some days before, the mosquitoes were biting. As soon as the owner has seen, that the mosquitoes were biting, he has bought an anti mosquito spray. Thank you for this. On our 2nd visit we were sitting inside. Sitting inside is much nicer. The food is very delicious, we can highly recommend this...

Fuimos por primera vez por sugerencia de un amigo que aseguró al grupo que la comida hindú estaba muy rica Disculpen mi ignorancia, pero la verdad yo había pasado muchas veces por delante del establecimiento y no me seducia nada un lugar que me ofrecía comida hindú, italiana, mexicana y hamburguesas a la vez (un totum revolutum, pensé yo). Pero entramos, y la mayoría del grupo nos decantamos por la hindú pero hubo quienes optaron por las pizzas y debo reconocer que todo estaba riquísimo. De sabios es reconocer el error, o los prejuicios, y yo soy "muy sabia" 😀😀😀. El establecimiento es muy sencillo, una terraza fuera con muebles de plástico pero han cuidado el detalle de poner un suelo de césped artificial, lo que amortigua el ruido de mesas y sillas arrastrándose por un suelo acerado e indudablemente alegra la vista. Por dentro volvemos a una decoración sencilla, esta vez con sillas de madera, pero sin personalidad. La carta tiene todos los platos explicados aunque vuelven a estar juntas todas las opciones pero para los no iniciados, como nosotros, es verdad que la camarera resuelve todas las dudas. Yo, personalmente, le daría un cambio a la forma de la carta. Como veis son solo aspectos externos los que yo mejoraria porque el fondo de un restaurante es la comida y a esa no le pongo ningún pero. Se encuentra en la última pista de la Barrosa y justo enfrente cuenta con una bolsa de aparcamiento gratuito de la que se benefician todos los establecimientos hosteleros de la zona aunque en verano una parte del parking se ocupa con atracciones de feria para los más pequeños. No tengo fotos pero puedo decir que anoche mismo éramos 4 personas y tomamos el pan de lentejas con las tres salsas (picante, yogur con menta y la de mango), queso pakora (4 en la ración ), samosaa vegetales, vienen 2 en la ración, y de carne, langostinos con mango, pollo tika con curry y de arroz el pilau y el de huevo frito. Postre ya imposible de que nos cupiese 😃😃. Cerveza fue la bebida. Nos invitaron a chupitos. Que sirvieron en la mesa, no venían ya de dentro servidos. Y por todo esto 4 personas pagamos 65 euros en total. No es un sitio a tener...
