Corb Mari — Restaurant in Ciutadella

We gave the Restaurant a try, because of the bad reviews, and the waiter catches us, because of his jokes ;) In advance I had to say that Tastes are different, and this is my personality Impression!

The service is friendly, and they do some jokes, and we were surprised about their German, it was rly funny because we are from Austria. So the services is friendly and engaged.

Now we come to the food, I order the Garlic breed with morzerella, this was nothing special but I don’t have anything special either, so i gave a 3/5 The main course was a Vegan Burger, I am a vegetarian, so I know how a burger could be.the bread was dry, the patty was a Finished product that is supposed to resemble a chicken, the patty was with tomato and salad and that’s it no souce, the taste was rly nothing special, for me the food was disappointing.so 1/5 The price was also to much for a food that’s not good Overall service is friendly, food was not good, and the Ambiente is also nice.

Got lied to about serving paella for one person for a start, then we had to wait 25 mins for them to clear a table that had left so we could sit down, one waiter seemed to be doing all he could to avoid clearing the table, upon sitting down they didn’t wipe it properly and it was covered in bits still , we wasn’t haded any menus, then when I asked it seemed too much hard work , we ordered drinks that came with so much ice in when I asked for no ice, I took the ice out and there was less than half the glass full for €4 lol … then waited a further 10 mins to order food to then be told paella couldn’t be done for one , so we said we will leave it then, the lady took it as an insult and professed that we could sit for drinks , we didn’t even take a sip so we Said no thanks...

We asked for a table and they said we had to wait for 20’ we did for 30’ but we understood. The host was decent (friendly) but the rest of the employees never checked to see if everything was ok with our meal or if we wanted another drink or even a dessert. We ordered well done tenderloin with mushrooms sauce the beef was under cooked and the sauce they decided to add the pepper one, we asked to cook for a little longer and they still bring it back under cooked; the other dish was lamb from Menorca was three ribs that only one was alright, the others two over cooked. Very disappointed. It was the only bad meal on the island for the both of us. First time in there and for sure...
