Mostassa — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Sadly this Restruant is a absoutle embarrassment to Menorca. The staff was very rude and I would not opt to eat back there again. The staff made us feel NOT welcome due the fact we was not from Menorca, this restruant is NOT tourist friendly. The MANAGER ANDREW IS THE WORST, he kept shouting at my friends and kept talking over me and did not listen to anything I had to say, he then threatened NOT to serve us food after we waited a hour to be seated, the staff and the manager kept gossiping about us in Spanish, it's clear they are not friendly to anyone of colour on this Island, even though we spoke English with them, their racism continued. The waiting time is long, and the burgers are dry, don't waste your time here there are plenty of other restaurants around this area. I liked the place, it's on a uphill on its way to the port of Ciutadella, there are several tables with some comfortable-ish chairs. I had mixed feelings about the food. While I loved the appetizers, my burger was just okay. It felt like it lacked some great taste. The service was great, everything was quick. The menu wasn't stunning. I wished there were more appetizers, but the "build-your-own" burger experience is nice.

Overall, I've had a fine dinner at Mostassa and I believe it's a great choice if you wish to have a pub-like experience in Ciutadella. The price is right and the food is...

The location is nice and it is easy access place if you are walking from the city center down to the port. But very disappointing food. The burger has nothing to do with any good burger. The cheese was not melted and not even warm. Quality of salad is bad, spoiled. Overall burger taste is not good. Prices are expensive for what you get and comparable with the good burgers you get in the most famous neighborhoods in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia. This is placed is not recommended based on...
