Restaurant Dulcinea — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Fried anchovies were very fresh but not salty enough, so put more salt in the flour. The little prawns in garlic and oil were again fresh but tasted like burned garlic, so put the garlic last. The grilled prawns at the end were again very fresh and tender, but on the verge of being too salty. The only thing that was cooked to perfection were the fried baby calamari. These small touches can make a big difference in what this restaurant has to offer. Five stars as this restaurant has a great potential!

And goodness, make the menu smaller. I hope the owners read...

We found the Dulcinea on the 3rd day of our holiday and had lunch. We enjoyed it so much we had lunch there every day after. The food is terrific, the staff were excellent and the restaurant has that nice relaxed atmosphere which is ideal on holiday. We were attracted to the place by good reviews....the friendliness and the speed of the service were all very positive. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the food itself, we had mussels a la marinière, a garlic cod and two salads. The salads were simple but fine, however the mussels were too salty and gummy (not fresh?), the fish had an unpleasant aftertaste....we tried hard to finish the meal...
