ESP.
Do not sit here if you are looking for genuine fresh fish and Spanish tapas. Waiter insisted food was not frozen, we made the biggest mistake of the day by going in! We quickly realised that the tapas we had ordered were frozen (we are Spanish and have eaten them many many times in better places). When we challenged the waiter about how he lied to us he lowered his voice and said it was cooked when we ordered (didn’t talk about fresh or frozen product anymore). Of course we understand the potatoes and fish would be deep fried when we ordered but they were tasteless and from a frozen bag. This is NOT good produce, typical Spanish food, but I think it would be hard to find such thing in this touristy area. If you order from here you are not going to be eating fresh food and you will pay it expensive for its value , you have...
Read moreA group of 8 of us ran in here for lunch to get out of a rainstorm, so we had no idea what to expect. What a wonderful find - excellent variety of food including tapas, a choice of paella (made two of our group very happy, as they were able to get vegetarian paella) and some excellent pizzas. The seafood lovers in our group got a selection from the tapas menu and said the sardines and anchovies were particularly excellent, as were the croquettes. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, and particularly good with our little ones (aged 3 and 1). Puddings are incredible too - would recommend getting the homemade brownie! We will...
Read moreWe dined here twice - for tapas style lunch and dinner. The food was delicious and perfect for a family including a toddler to try different plates and share. We ordered 2 tapas/person, keeping in mind we could always order more. Our faves were the pulpo a gallega, tortilla de patatas, spicy chicken wings (fried/breaded), non spicy wings (baked, saucy), grilled shishito peppers and the meatballs. The bread and cava sangria were so good too. It’s the little things. This place was not as busy as others, but that meant quick service and i was shocked because to me it is a reasonably priced gem....
