A salad is called Pollo & Anchoa Anchovies are mentioned in the ingredients list in second rank, apart from the Caesar sauce ... I expect anchovies in the salad, right ? No anchovies but bacon instead. I asked for explanation, maybe there is no anchovies left in the kitchen so they did what they could with what they had ? NO ! "Anchovies are in the sauce" answered the waiter ! Are you kidding ? No, at the end of the dinner I asked again when paying the bill and got 4 different people, managers and kitchen guys, all repeating "anchovies are in the sauce". I advised them to indicate that there was pork in the salad at least for people that don't like it and/or Muslims and Jews but they didn't understand I advised to change the name of the dish to "Caesar Salad" and to not mention explicitly anchovies as mais ingrédient, they didn't understand neither ... Read moreThe food was lovely, a small portion but was still really tasty, the atmosphere was pretty great and had a lot of entertainment around. But staff behaviour were really impolite, we simply ordered a few light meals and drinks since we had already ate beforehand, and the staff who served us rolled their eyes and let out an annoyed scoff by our order. Whenever we got our order served we often get annoyed glances, leading my family and myself feel unwelcome and uneasy the whole time we had our meals there. We thought we would grab a few bites and a drink by this area, since it was just below our hotel rooms, if it wasn’t that we wouldn’t waste our time there.
Short summary: Horrible customer service...
Read morePleasantly surprised that our hotel restaurant is this amazing.
Croquetas Barcelona & Pamplona were very tasty, the cheese quality is top notch, they also added tomato jam at the bottom to add a tinge of sweetness. Amazing combo! We then got Angus burger, which was really good too. Arroz Negro - a squid ink paella with spot on taste, although i was hoping there's a bit more socarrat (the burnt rice at the bottom).
Service was unbeatable. So much attention, and they also gave us free celebratory cakes because it's San Juan day when we ate.
Not to mention the atmosphere was very edgy, with artsy furniture and decoration.
Definitely worth a visit, even when you're not staying...
