Pleasant restaurant in a very nice location, if sitting outside on the terrace. Service was as you would hope for. Food was very good generally. Had a very pleasant recommended vino tinto at €17.50 cheapest would have been just under €10. We had bread rolls(very hot) with a very small helping of alioli, but it was nice. We also had agua con gas at a reasonable price. Our mains were the same, Argentinian Steak at €21-50 each. Having asked for it to be medium, it was actually on the rare side of medium-rare, quite a bit of blood once into the steak, having said that, apart from a few bits of white stretchy stuff in part of the steaks, the rest of it was really tender & had good flavour. We asked for some mustard, and after mixing up our French & Spanish eventually got some, but again another really small portion. For desert I had a pancake with sugar & lemon with a scoop of ice cream which I enjoyed. Tina had lemon sorbet with sparking wine which came in a flute with a straw & she quite liked it. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would happily return to try more of the menu. Sitting outside with a view of the sea is an added bonus, and don't think smoking was allowed, or just lucky...

Visited today with friends whilst on holiday at Palomares. The food was excellent. I had the suckling leg of lamb, my good lady had the tagliatelle and our friends had the Argentinian steak and the Cod in pil pil, together with a Caesar salad. The food was excellent. My friend and I shared a bottle of very acceptable Ribero del Duero and the ladies a very good Sangria. The lady waiting tables was excellent and very helpful. We would definitely recommend. Llamé a la 13:00 para preguntar si podíamos comer de menú me dijeron que si era dentro del local si ya que tenían la terraza reservada, por nosotros sin problema aún diciendo que nos iríamos pronto ya que teníamos prisa. Al llegar a la 13:30 nos pusieron en la mesa de nada más entrar por la puerta. Hasta ahí todo genial. La paella y fabada bien, salmorejo rico. De segundo el salmón estaba bueno pero el secreto incomible, recalentado y más duro que una piedra, me lo dejé entero. (Era el primer secreto que sacaron en las comidas, si ya está así no quiero imaginar los últimos ) A las 14:10 llega otra pareja sin reserva también que los ponen en la primera mesa mirando a la terraza... Vaya, eran conocidos suyos... Al irnos solo estaban ocupadas 3 mesas en terraza quedando aún 7 mesas libres y nos dice la camarera que hemos sido rápidos en comer, a ver un menú del día en 1 hora o 50 minutos, como es nuestro caso ya que teníamos prisa, lo tienes finiquitado. Hubierais quedado genial si nos decís que nos ponéis en la terraza y si llegan las mesas el postre nos lo tomamos dentro, así el mal sabor de boca del secreto incomible hubiera sido mejor pero no, en nuestro caso no volveremos.
