This kebab place is one with a sea view on a popular tourist street. My friend came here a few years back and he recommended this place for lunch, so here we are the 3 of us.
The shop is pretty small with about 4 tables inside and 4 tables outside. Like all kebab shop, it has a meat kebab and a chicken kebab rotating on display. The guy behind the counter is friendly. We ordered a mixed kebab platter (French fries, mix kebab meat and salad), a kebab in pita bread with no tomato, and kebab in pita bread with no spicy sauce. We also ordered 3 coffees.
He made us the coffees while we wait for our food. The 2 plates of french fries for the pita bread kebab came first. It was served on a very small plate. Then came the mixed kebab platter also served on a small plate, with no sauces at all. I had to go and ask for the sauces. Then the two kebab in pita bread arrived, both with spicy sauce. So we told the guy that one of them shouldn't have any spicy sauce on it. So he took it away to make a new one. However, it took so long to make that both of us have finished our food before he made the new order, which ruined the meal for the 3rd person.
Let's talk about the food. French fries are good and fresh but a very small portion considering potato doesn't cost that much. The salad was literally two slices of cucumber and a few strips of lettuce. The kebab was dry and I don't think the mixed kebab platter was even a mixed kebab at all. The pita bread was nice though.
Overall, this place has the same/similar price to other kebab shops around Denia, and you can get much better quality and bigger portion with the others. The portion in this kebab place is like a child's meal with an adult meal price.
I definitely will not come again and I do not recommend anyone to come here unless you really really want kebab and this is the only one...
Read moreSuper friendly dude behind the till, always smiling. I've come here a few times and it's become my go to to grab a quick bite, the rollos (rolls) are my favourite and always have been, out of places I've been in Barcelona, Pedreguer, gata de gorgos and other kebab places in Denia, this one is definitely my favourite. Prices are pretty reasonable...
