Nou Milen — Restaurant in Dénia

What can i say? We traveled on the tram from benidorm and an excellent direct tram to Denia at a very cheap price for a day out. €9.60 for a return ticket for 2 people.

Firstly the place is a perfect spot to sit right opposite the big multi milliom pounds yaghts on the marina. Pleasantly surprised by the position and the prices which were very reasonable for a seat so near the marina.€1.50 for a lovely coffee con leche. €1.40 coffee americano

We decided to look at the menu and there was a choice of fish which smelled delicious, many were eating the whitebait with their drinks. There was tapas on menu and salads.

We chose a burger mixed. It was a burger with salad cheese fried egg and bacon served with fries..a cana (small glass) of beer.

We finished off the meal with profiteroles and coffee to follow.

Today 30th january and the sun shone all day.

Ok it's cheap menu del dia but the mushroom soup in can absolutely tasteless I don't see the point of serving that. Then the chicken and the hake fish with the same soggy bread crump 100% frozen from the same company. The chicken was still raw inside after we've been waiting for a while after everyone get serve. The owner getting upset with his wife during the service and run out then coming back. Smoking and throwing cigarettes in front of the restaurant such a show ! If you want to eat well better go to Mc donald. Seriously this...

Great value place and what was served was delicious. The calamari a la plancha and the Pulpo a la plancha were excellent. The entrecot was a lovely piece of meat and well cooked. However, service was dreadfully slow, which was made more frustrating as the restaurant was not even busy. Furthermore, apart from the steak, every other meat dish we ordered was not available (jamon croqueta and albóndigas). So if you are on a budget and have all the time in the world you won't be...
