This restaurant as the previous client stated is not up to the standard of a michelin restaurant ...i have tried to meet with Juan Manuel Lopez the owner and chef and the manager is not only rude and ignorant but refuses to speak to Juan as he thinks he owns the restaurant..we work with seven top michelin chefs in the Costa Blanca and are the most exclusive online media for European residencia and the likes of Quique da costa-kiko Moya- Ferdinando Bernardi -Orobianco-Bon amp -Casa Pepa and more embrace this as they know it is the Europeans who are dining experts and spend large sums on dining out...therefore we are about to introduce to the Costa blanca a specialist app where you can go online and book Michelin restaurants and other top ones with information about all of them and their menus and chefs but due to the ignorant nature of there manager and his lack of understanding the industry we will now be reporting to Michelin that they drop Peix Brases as so many people are unhappy with the service and i suggest someone in there restaurant informs Juan Manuel Lopez of this so finds out what his manager is doing ...we will now be sending out social media to over 84,000 residents informing them not to dine at Peix...

It’s not just about eating fish or rice – they actually play with traditional flavors in a more refined way. We tried the tasting menu and it was one of those meals where you recognize the ingredients but they come out dressed differently – red prawn from Dénia (of course), rice that had layers of flavor, and some creative small dishes that still kept the soul of Spanish cuisine without turning into something gimmicky.

The food we ate here was absolutely stunning. We both had the cod and the shared the creme brûlée. I’m normally quite a fast eater but took my time to enjoy every last mouthful. I fell in love with the pudding. Creme brûlée with Thai basil ice cream and fig, it really blew me away.
If you are a foodie, this place is well worth a visit.
One thing I would say is that I didn’t find the staff very friendly or welcoming. It’s very sleek, modern and minimalist which I found a bit pretentious and stuff hence only 4 stars. Food is 5 stars in my opinion and the wine list is impressive.
Would happily go again and will remember it for a long...
