Thousand Islands — Restaurant in El Puerto de Santa María

I gotta edit this because we went for a second time and it left lots to desire. Not only the food wasn't as good, which could have been because we may not have been as hungry or taste or whatnot. But the service was terrible! The only one actually working there is one lovely lady who takes the orders, cooks, and gets everything set up. The other three people there are just there, on their phones or barely listening or aware that they are actually working.

This was my opinion the first time we went which was wonderful, early, and not busy, in contrast with the second time that it was at a busier time

Honestly!!! I would have never gone to this place if it hadn't been because the options were sort of limited. It looked like a not-too-good place but meh! You never know... OH BOY I WAS WRONG!!! We had an amazing meal!!! The service was quick, attentive, caring, and the food...!! The food!! Wow! Was it good!! We are planning our next visits to this mall around meal times just so we can go back! And! We may not have been super hungry at the time but! We had a dinner for 3 for the price of a regular dinner for 1 at any other place.

Do not be deceived by the way it looks. Go, try it out, if you're unsure of what to get you can ask "we've never had this, what do you recommend." They'll ask something like "what are you in the mood for" and they'll give you a recommendation that you...

I am surprised this place has 4 stars. I was excited to try the food finally after their reopening during covid. I ordered the Pancit Canton noodles to go. It didn't look like what the other reviewer recieved. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce was watered down. I wouldn't be surpised if it was frozen and heated up last minute. Was it even made fresh? I don't know but the chicken tasted chewy like it was boiled and the best part of all there was a small piece of THICK HAIR in my food. Disgusting...
