Coeliacs should avoid this place, as it isn’t safe. My wife and I stopped for a few tapas and a glass of wine because the setting looked beautiful. I am coeliac and unfortunately had one of my worst experiences in Spain. When ordering, I clearly explained my condition and asked about gluten-free options. The owner, with time to spare as the place was empty, went through the menu and reassured me food would come with bread on the side. However, the cheese was served directly on bread. Realising the mistake, he took it back, but when it returned it had simply been lifted off the bread and was still covered in crumbs. I couldn’t eat it, so my wife had it instead and said it was delicious. When the owner asked for feedback, I explained I couldn’t try it because of cross-contamination. I loved everything about it, the decor, the music, the friendly service and of course the food. I rarely go anywhere twice when travelling, but I made an exception for Darcy's as it was far and away better than anywhere else in the vicinity, which is full of overpriced, modern, faceless outlets. The tapas are cold and simple (except Friday evenings when they cook some specials), but made of delicious local products and are €2 each. Great range of wines, sherry's and beers too.
