BE AWARE of Directors and their friends. During our visit, the usual “customer is always right” did not apply. Their website states first come, first served for poolside beds. We arrived right at opening (11 AM) but were given second-row beds. When we asked about the front row, the response was: not avail bc those are often reserved for directors and their friends.
So.. I guess.. not to self: become friends with directors and staff's friends? Are you kidding me?
I deal with clients regularly and always try to remain polite and professional, but the more I spoke with the staff (bc the answer and the approach its just BAD business), the worse the situation became. Management clearly needs training on how to handle customer complaints — the resolution was really, really poor. Actually, there was no resolution nor real apology. We were simply wrong.
I’ve been rooting for this place since last year because Estepona deserves more upscale venues, and I was excited about the dinner + show concept. However, after spending €400 for two (with service and food that, apart from Andrés, fell short), I left really disappointed.

Read moreI never imagined we would have such an experience in a place of this level. This was hands down the worst restaurant experience we’ve had in the last 10 years. It started with ants crawling all over the table — we decided to overlook that. We placed our order. Every single drink order (not cocktails that require preparation, but simple drinks that just need to be poured into a glass) took over 30 minutes to arrive.
Then came the food. Not only were we served dishes we never ordered more than 8 times (we stopped counting after that), but after waiting 2 full hours (yes, 2 hours!), 4 of the dishes we ordered never even arrived. Instead of the tuna steak we ordered, we were served a beef steak. Twice we asked the waitress if she was sure it was tuna (because it was already dark), and both times she insisted, “yes.” The same chaos was happening at the two tables next to us — those guests were visibly outraged as well.
In the end, our patience ran out. We asked for the check, only to find items we never ordered included there as well (of course, the 10% service charge was still added without hesitation). To make things worse, dirty plates were left on our table for ages and only cleared away after we explicitly asked — and only after another long wait.

Read moreWe visited this new beach club in Estepona and were very disappointed. They serve water from a special machine but do not sterilize the bottles. They don’t even empty the half-filled ones, just top them up. This is unacceptable — someone could have drunk directly from the bottle or touched it with dirty hands covered in sunscreen. We saw bottles coming straight from the pool area, and it was very unpleasant to watch. I even drank some water before realizing this, and it almost made me sick. This really requires a health inspection.
The staff clearly have no idea what they are doing. Nobody knows the prices, they couldn’t bring us the bill for half an hour even though the place was almost empty. I can’t imagine the chaos if it were full.
