Havana Beach Bar — Restaurant in Estepona

Was on the beach got very hot so me and .my wife went here for some ice cream. The waiter came up and asked what we would like. I said we just like some ice cream and then maybe a drink. he said we had to go to the bar and we could not sit here which was just at the front where others were sitting drinking. I then went and told I had to choose from a fridge which I did.then after a few minutes I saw 2 waiters and both said I could not pay them. I had to wait, the ice creams were melting then a waitress came to the bar I paid her which took at least 3 mins the ice creams were melting. We then sat down and then asked the waiter for 2 still waters he took our order. Then after 15mins we still did.nt receive our drinks. We saw a couple come in after us had their drinks and then receive some chips.he saw us looking and said they are coming soon I was getting frustrated and my wife asked where our drinks when he said sorry. We said we only wanted water. He said 15mins 30Mins what does it matter. I then thought he was being Rude and even thought maybe it's because we are English, I have been coming to Spain for over 50 years, this is one of the worst experiences I have encountered. We never did get our drinks as I said to my wife. If they don't.t want our custom I will rather leave. Which I did and went back to our apartment for some water. No sorry.s will be an excuse for rude behaviour, would never set foot...

Terrible service and attitude of the waiters.

I was about to eat at this place and given it’s got a variety of food options to choose from (from sea food to meat, to burgers) I asked a genuine question to our waiter - what would he recommend in this place, if I were to pick one single meal. His answer was everything is great. I followed up with another question, what do you specialize in - meat/fish/burgers? His answer was again, everything. Until he suddenly disappeared in the middle of our conversation. Once he returned, I confronted him asking whether he thinks it’s OK to disregard a customer’s questions’ as it’s clearly lack of respect. He then apologized but was trying to rush things so that he can move on. I just stood up and left as I really disliked the attitude of the staff. I have no idea how’s the quality of the food but the service is chaotic, and the guy that was appointed to our table was disrespectful and certainly didn’t enjoy...

This place is one of the strangest places I've ever been to... Great setting (love this beach due to small children...), nice remodel since last year but they have no clue how to run a restaurant. On a busy Sunday they were running one bartender, two people taking orders, one chef (!!!) And 5 people running around trying to figure out who's taking the dishes of the table... Took a solid hour to get some spaghetti bolognese and chicken with rice to the table and no bread in between even if ordered right away. Staff isn't the most attentive or cheerful either so not really working on their reputation either.

Will try the new built one further down next time cause these guys haven't learned anything and probably never will (as far as I can remember, it's always been...
