A creation of the owner" handelt würde. So in Cas Concos.

The dish was tasty, but it didn’t really feel like authentic Thai food. The duck was deep-fried in a thick crispy batter instead of being roasted as it’s usually served in Thailand. The coconut milk sauce was creamy but lacked the typical Thai flavors of lime, basil, and spices. The vegetables were mostly European — bell pepper, cabbage, carrot, cucumber — instead of the usual Thai ingredients like bamboo shoots or eggplant. Overall, it felt like an adapted Asian-style dish for European taste, not a real Thai curry.

This was one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to for ages. The staff went above and beyond to make you at ease. The food was excellent, and the whole experience is worth enjoying. Closed for the winter shortly after this visit, but it was so good I reviewed it somewhere on the night we were there and I'm normally against doing that. Not many pics of it now, sorry.

This was the worst Thai I've ever been. In fact this restaurant made it in my top 5 list of worst restaurants ever (and I do go out for food quite a bit).

I genuinely hope they had an off-day because the food they served was scandalous. This is not cooking, this is tossing some uncooked ingredients together in a pan and heating it up before serving it. The curry was nothing more than really greasy coconut milk without any other added flavour. And the ingredients had none flavour what so over. And then to think that the price was actually imo a bit higher than regularly. Blend, tasteless, uninspired soulless food.

I almost feel reluctant to speak so openly about it, yet the level of food was just appalling. I hope that it was a matter of that the original cook was sick and was replaced last minute. I could otherwise not explain why this restaurant actually has pretty...

Bad: price performance! (2 small-medium spring rolls 8€; 20€ Phad Thai without ANY vegetables and only 4 shrimps/prawns; 17,50€ for glass noodles with vegetables (which were delicious though); drinks are not being poured by the staff despite the high price; old and ugly plastic flowers on tables etc.) old and cheep interior and decoration no chilli flakes available. Only salty soy sauce with small jalapeños in it (but food was already salty enough) next to a street most uncomfortable armrest I ever used no tofu at all in the menu card

Normal: time it took until the food came service taste was good-average, nothing too refined or authentic size of portions

Good: glass noodles where served with many...

We went here to order something for takeaway. The waitress was nice and welcoming, however that was already the best thing to experience that evening. Can’t say much about the atmosphere inside but it didn’t look super cosy. Honestly speaking - I wouldn’t expect this from a Thai/Asian restaurant though. Unfortunately the food was definitely not what we had expected. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or they simply had a bad day but our food lacked almost everything you would wish for in a Thai dish. No flavor overall, no vegetables in the Pad Thai, almost raw onions in our curry, no spiciness, no seasoning. There are definitely better options in Portocolom to get tasty...
