Review scoring: 3 as expected based on price, quality and reputation, ie as expected. 4 better than expected and 2 lower quality than expected. 5 absolutely outstanding in all respects against expectations; food quality and presentation, staff, decor and atmosphere.

Amazing restaurant with an interesting Asian tilted flavour profile. We stated with local bread and smoked sardines… I love sardines and these were awesome. Soooo good.

We then moved to a salad, Galician cheese salad. Really interesting crunch, 2 types of cheese, pickled carrot, lettuce and seeds with quince paste and a beet dressing. Wonderful.

We then had scallops….OMG! With a ginger based dressing and an olive oil dressing ( both on the side) these were high quality, simply cooked sea food…. And were unbelievably great. We finished off with a blue fish sashimi style san chow boa with rice, kimchi mayo and lettuce leaves. The fish was a bit “delicate” for my taste but the dish was flawlessly executed and a pleasure to eat.

The wine list is local and very good. We chose based on the waitress recommendation and it was amazing and so suited out palette and the dishes we ordered.

I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. The lady serving us was pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable ( food and wine) and very capable.

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! My friend and I had a celebratory lunch here after our completion of the Camino Primitivo - this food was without a doubt the BEST food we’ve had throughout our several weeks in Spain! We tried the Galician cheese salad (an experience!!!), the marinated blue fish lettuce wraps (incredible!!!), and the crispy chicken bao buns (delicious!!!) — EVERY single item we ate was an experience of the senses. We could not stop “oooooooh-ing and ahhhh-ing”. We absolutely savored every morsel of this meal. I will be thinking about these foods for a long time! Thank...
