The worst restaurant service experience. I’ve never experienced a waitress being so rude.

We ordered fresh red prawns and they arrived undercooked. We complained and she raised her voice and told us she doesn’t care if we want it cooked through we had to eat them and we still have to pay for it. After patiently and calmly explaining that it’s not about the money we’ll order another dish or get another batch cooked through if not, she said they could cook the prawns we’d had in front of us for 20 minutes, for longer and we couldn’t order anything else in replacement. He had to get the prawns in front of us - reheated and cooked through. We explained we do not want food poisoning and if we have to order the prawn dish we want a fresh batch of prawns. She refused. She proceeded to ask us whether we’d ever eaten out and eaten fresh fish before whilst also making faces at us. She THEN picked the prawn out of my friends plate and ate it storming off saying “I’ll finish this then”.

Whilst I understand prawns are cooked differently in different areas and to people’s preferences, we shouldn’t have had to argue with someone because ours were slimy inside and dripping with thick red blood clots. I asked to speak to the manager as the lady was so argumentative and unhelpful… she let me know she was the manager so I asked her to call her boss and she got angry at us again raising her voice again and stormed off muttering abuse under her breath.

Overall, the food wasn’t great and the service was the worst we’d ever experienced (zero complaints about the male waiter, he was pleasant). Wish we’d read the other reviews before we sat down as it seems this lady (the manager) is an ongoing problem for this restaurant.

Eventually the prawns were taken off the bill after she’d argued with us for a considerable amount of time. Will not be going back or...

Aesthetically this place looks fabulous. Great location, lovely design and the perfect place to have a beach lunch. In reality this place couldn’t be any worse and I’m loathed to even give it one star.

There were 9 of us dining so a good order for them and we were all very hungry. Unfortunately the food was expensive, portion sizes ridiculously small and it all tasted like it came out of the freezer! How can you get a salad wrong?! There were hardly any leaves, no dressing and for 15€ it was just terrible. A bowl of fries (no joke there were about 8) cost 7€ and we had to buy these as extra as they didn’t come with the burger!!! We left so much food as it was to put it politely - disgusting!!! We are very discreet, polite clients but when the VERY rude waitress asked us “did you not like the food?” as she saw that we left so much, we replied “it was ok.” BIG MISTAKE. She then ranted “well what did you expect, what is your problem, do you not know it’s home cooked food etc etc” whilst pulling a multitude of rude faces at us and basically shooing us out. It really wasn’t worth the argument so we didn’t really say much and just paid and left as soon as possible - although the rude and obnoxious waitress clearly thought she knew best and really wanted to argue with us by carrying on. A really horrible person and experience.

It’s a shame they can’t take criticism well (as shown in their replies to negative reviews on here) and a bigger shame that I don’t believe they can possibly be there again next year. They lure you in with their great location and attractive decor but the food and service is way below par. Not so much a shame that there are plenty of other places to eat on Formentera and we...

DISONESTI..! Arriviamo al ristorante che sinceramente ci aveva colpito passando,anche se senza prenotazione ci fanno accomodare. Bel tavolo,semplice apparecchiatura ma curata,inoltre molto cordiali entrambi i camerieri(1 ragazzo spagnolo,L altro italiano,”tale Francesco “che poi si rivelerà in Persona Pessima e Bugiarda sia a livello umano che dal punto di vista professionale. Ci sediamo alle 21:00Gentilissimi ci servono acqua,2 calici di vino e 2 porzioni di pane con olive. Ordiniamo 1 spaghetto in bianco,1 pizza margherita (per i bambini),(9 e 5 anni),1 crocchetta de Jamon,1 spaghetto con vongole,e 1 pesce alla griglia con insalata €24. Al momento di scrivere questo ultimo piatto,mi viene detto dal Cameriere italiano che questa pietanza è terminata,però ne avrei potuta avere una uguale(differenza di pesce). Tutto Perfetto 👌. Ore 22:15 Al tavolo non arriva niente.. Però negli altri si,anche a persone arrivate dopo di noi.. Ci dicono Scusate Problemi in cucina..! Da lì a poco,arriva il cameriere spagnolo con un piatto di prosciutto crudo e 5 grissini,dicendo Questo è per il ritardo della cucina. I bambini e mia moglie non mangiamo prosciutto..Io stavi aspettando il pesce,ma allo stesso tempo sembrava brutto non mangiare niente in quanto era stato gentile..e poi avevo fame! All istante arrivano i piatti.. Tutto come ordinato,anche se non un gran che.. Pasta del bambino scotta e niente formaggio da grattugiare o grattugiato (doveva essere uno spaghetto in bianco) Spaghetto alle vongole acquoso.. Chiediamo il conto.. Pazzesco 147€. Le crocchette de jamon mai arrivate.. Piatto di prosciutto messo nel conto a 18€.. Piatto del pesce 35& anziché 24. Chiedo spiegazioni del conteggio e del ritardo solo del nostro tavolo.. Risposte del signore Francesco.. La cucina è piccola,le crocchette non le ho segnate,il piatto di prosciutto lo ha portato il mio collega,quale sconto devo farti?! Dal totale poi mi tolgono il piatto di prosciutto. Non discuto i prezzi,perché quamdo si ordina ci sono scritti.. Però la furbizia e la maleducazione del cameriere italiano sono atteggiamenti da improvvisati. (Parlando con persone del posto si vocifera che di mestiere faccia il parrucchiere,nel caso fosse vero si siedano tante cose) Spero che la proprietà intervenga sul questo dipendente. Aggiungi solo che ho avuto la fortuna di frequentare L isola più volte,questa infatti è la 16 volta,di cui la 5 consecutiva e mai ho avuto un problema o disguido in qualsiasi attività del posto. Quindi non sono uno sprovveduto! Location molto bella e curata,posizione ottima e centrale,prezzi nella giusta norma.. Personale non preparato e Disonesto....
