High-level restaurant, just like the altitude of this place. And the view, breathtaking... I love rocks, stones, monoliths... This place offers a fascinating perspective of the tectonic history of the island, all in stone, but terraces as well, olive plantations, all integrated with the narrow streets abunding in the lovely old houses and churches and townlet buildings. Back to the food... the menu is not very long, but the Master Cook, Marcos, he knows his business like a Master. His croquets, of which we had only too few when we first went there, we had to refrain from fighting over the... The second time, I messaged Marcos ahead of time, and he had six available, ready for me to wolfishly gulp down, but slowly, to enjoy the taste, slooooowly... I will also mention the raw fish prepared with various sauces and other fermented liquids that Marcos is so happy to describe, salted with blue salt, some corral type of salt, and I will also mention the paella with a huge shrimp on top, black ink garnished rice and all sorts or other sea creatures in it, Laura, always attentive with us, is in charge of the wines and you have a good selection to match with the food. Parking nearby is tricky, so be prepared for an ascension to get to the restaurant. This restaurant made it in my top list of choices. Laura and Marcos, thank you, wait for us,...

Read moreWe found this place via Google search by coincidence. It is very small and run by a local cook. You can really the love and passion that is put into each dish, as well as the service. We truly felt like we were being served by friends in their own backyard. The owner is also the cook and hee came out to meet us, and asked us for feedback on the food. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We can especially recommend the fish rice, which was served in a large pottery with super fresh ingredients. Be aware that the portion is for two people and super large .. we were unable to finish, as we also had a starter each. In addition the views from the terrace over the valley are marvellous during sunset. We would highly recommend visiting this restaurant (also definitely visit the cute little village beforehand e.g. for a drink. It is extremely picturesque with many small bars and restaurants a super...
