From the front street the restaurant doesn't look very inviting but walk through to the large terrace at the rear and the views are lovely. We had the combination taster plate and the morcillo dish and all the food was very good. Clearly the family who run the place and cook the food have long years of experience in making their somewhat limited menu. But I like that they only have about 15 main courses to choose from. I'm always suspicious of restaurants offering hundreds of choices....fish or meat or Italian or curry etc etc. How can the chef cope well? This restaurant has fewer things to offer but they are cooked to perfection by a family with many years experience. Read moreFood is straightforward, simple, well cooked, and tasty. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Actually the prices are good. It's grandma's cooking, not fancy, but none the worse for that. Staff are very friendly. It's cash only, but they struggled to cope with a 50€ note for a meal for 2 people. So, not necessarily super organised. Check opening hours if you're walking up there from lower down in town; often, it's not open in the evening. Great terrace. Well worth giving it a go. We'll certainly be back.
