Sorry guys, not a comment on the food…we didn’t have any. So we trekked here after reading the reviews re vegan food we were quite excited to visit. Friendly waiter seated us immediately, but then it just went downhill. He probably was busy, however his focus was on everyone but us. Even after acknowledging we’d be next he proceeded to seat and take other orders before us. We left after a 20min wait, after the next table, seated 10min after us, getting orders in and getting their drinks before we had a chance to order. Recently our party of family & friends dined here & we can't recommend Restaurante El Conventillo highly enough. From the moment we arrived and sat down, the friendly service was exceptional. The waitress was very friendly & helpful with our selections of food & wine. During our stay in Frigiliania we tried a new restaurant each night. Food was pretty bad—honestly the best thing was the fries that came with the fish fillet. Gazpacho was just okay and blended too heavily, and spaghetti was the worst we’ve ever had (it was sweet, like almost like the sauce was made with ketchup — was barely touched but the waiter didn’t ask anything of it when clearing the plates.
