🌸🥢 Authentic Thai Experience at Padthaiwok Málaga! 🥢🌸

During our recent visit to Padthaiwok in Málaga, we were truly impressed by how authentically this restaurant represents Thai culture and gastronomy 🇹🇭✨. The whole concept is inspired by the best street food of Bangkok, bringing that vibrant and delicious energy right to the heart of Málaga — and it’s no wonder food lovers around the world appreciate this kind of experience so much!

I started with a shrimp salad 🦐, and it was absolutely delightful — fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. What really stood out were their signature sauces, which give every dish a unique and unforgettable taste 😋💫. As a big soup and salad lover myself, I was amazed to see how fresh and well-balanced everything was.

After browsing through the menu, I realized that Padthaiwok offers something for everyone: 🍜 A wide variety of Pad Thai, curries, noodles, and fried rice 🍛 Delicious specialties like Thai basil bowls, Kratiem, or Siam chicken 🥣 Authentic Thai soups and salads, all made with fresh ingredients and that unmistakable Thai touch.

My husband and I both ordered chicken noodles 🍗🍜, and we were very happy with our choice. He especially mentioned that the portion size was perfect, and we both agreed that the flavors were excellent — we left the restaurant completely satisfied and smiling! 😊

And of course, I must mention the lovely waitress who took care of us — she was kind, caring, and very helpful, making our dining experience even more enjoyable 💕.

I can definitely recommend trying the food at Padthaiwok Málaga, but be careful… once you taste it, you might just become...

We went down to eat, because we normally really like the concept and their food.. but this experience was really not one to forget, in a really bad way. We ordered 2 times of Panag curry, one with chicken and one with vegetarian chicken. The waiter swapped around our plates, but because of the look of the food, no one noticed. We ate for like 5 minutes before I figured that my vegetarian friend got the one with chicken that I should have had. We shifted and ate it, because there of course were nothing wrong with the food. We told the waiter at the end that he had shifted it around and he then promised us 25% off our next order at their place.. which of course wouldn’t make up for the fact that he gave my vegetarian friend chicken. But we couldn’t do much and we just took the offer. BUT then we came to eat (mostly just to get our 25%) and obviously the food is not bad at all, even tho he made a really clumsy mistake.. But as we thought it would be it, he refused us our 25%, saying that it was not a possibility since we ate the food last time we were there. Well of course, it was not like we did not like the food, he just gave a person who is not eating any kinds of meat, a plate with chicken and we wanted him to make up for that mistake of course. But he instead threatened us to call the police if we weren’t panting our bill without the 25%. Really an unfair and unacceptable experience. And most of all really bad service and really not a nice way to treat...

The food is great as always but prepare to wait for 30 minutes outside in the cold if you are having takeaway. Also prepare to not to have an apology or compensation for the long wait. The restaurant was almost empty. I have ordered from Padthaiwok for 4 years at least once a month and recommended it for friends and family. I think you can get the same quality with better and faster service elsewhere.

Edit: Noticed after leaving that paid for ice cream but it wasn't there.

Edit and update: I was contacted by the restaurant after made the reclamation and they handled the whole thing very well. I was compensated and they apologised. Hence I think they deserve...
