After 20 years of coming to the Costa Del Sol I can honestly say that the meal at Las Tablas del Rey was the best we have had on the Costa Del Sol. The restaurant was wonderful, the staff friendly, informative and attentive and the food was amazing. Even common dishes such as croquettes and Russian Salad were lifted to another level and were not only extremely tasty but different and as a result memorable in the best way. The highlight of the meal was the Tuna Sashimi which came with Wasabi ice cream which complemented the tuna in a very special way. We have definately found sonething special in Las Tablas del Rey and it was a pleasure to meet the very talented chef at the end of the meal and thank him for a fantastic gastronomic experience. We will definately be returning to this amazing place and I cannot recommend enough. For a special meal you can't go wrong with this restaurant.

Excellent food! I had a goat cheese salad, it was filled with flavour, the cheese was creamy, warm and just melted in your mouth. Fruit added a nice sweetness and the nuts a nice crunch. Vinegrette was yummy. I had a little taste of the entrecot steak, it was super delicious. The chicken nuggets were great too. Patatas bravas and pimientos de padron were absolutely delicious too. The bread there was also very very good. It was warm, soft from the insise and crispy on the outside. They gave you olive oil to dip it in, it was so good! The bread came as a starter, you didn't need to order it. The meals were very big, so you will get full. The atmosphere was great, I loved how the restaurant looked. It was very cozy and comfy. Music was calm, which fit the atmosphere, it was great to eat there. The staff is extremely kind and nice. The serving was also excellent. A wonderful experience!

Short review: Had tomato starter and hamburgers: Excellent experience. Strong recommend! Long review: We walked by on the street 22:00 with no reservation and asked for a table and were given the final table inside as everything else was taken. Out of the recommendations among starter and main course we picked a Kumato tomato with Pedri Ximénez vinegar "Px" and charcold salt starter and both went for Steak burger, caramelized onion, bull sauce, mezclum, tomato served with potatoes main course. The tomato starter was such a tasty experience, with cold dish served on hot plates, where the ice-cold salt/butter started melting and the vinegar combination played with the taste buds. As for the main course, I often like to taste restaurants hamburgers when traveling, not out of lazyiness or lack of curiosity, but for experiencing different ways hamburgers are made. I have done a fair amount of restaurant hamburger tasting around the world, but this experience was unique. It is clear not just the composition of the menu and the individual menu options, but the very preparation of every plate in this restaurant is done with a great deal of love. This hamburger comes with apparently house made potato fries, served with two types of mustard beautifully laid out on the plate. I started out by savoring the potatoes and the mustard before starting with the burger, while my partner in increasingly strong language urged me to get started with the burger. Once starting on the burger itself, the first bite was such a sensation of the taste buds, it played with every taste except bitterness (which I'm very grateful for!). And the meat is by itself such a experience. At the end the chef came out and talked to each table, and I asked the chef "what is this meat?". Chef responded by bringing out the meat and explaining the process: Taking the best parts of cow meat (sirloin), letting it mature for 40 days, then mincing it to make the hamburger. Combined with the caramelized onion, the sauce and the mezclum the combination is such a mesmerizing taste experience. We will try to come back so that we can experience other items on the menu of this establishment, were you truly can think you're eating at the king's dining table. To the restaurant: Thank you for putting your heart into what you do, it is rare but so very...

Absolutely shocking! I didn't expect such disappointment! Look for another place to spend your money. I was truly looking forward to the nice food and service... Unfortunately received: order wine one glass of red and white which never arrived water finished and the replacement never arrived goat salad was lacking dressing tried removing the salad half finishes without asking if we don't with it, you would expect basics in service the cod main dish was so salty couldn't eat it, the waiter told me it is salty as it is from the sea, are you kidding me!? got a replacement dish of tuna stake medium rear which is nothing you would call tuna stake, salty again just left after one bite The saddest thing restaurant has plenty of staff and just a couple of tables... You would expect some mixups when busy, they don't engage with the table not making eye contact... Overrated and overpriced and very...
