In my humble opinion, living right across from this place may make me a bit biased, but I genuinely believe they serve the best Chivito in town! I simply can’t get enough of it. Almost like a tradition, I find myself there nearly every Friday for ‘almuerzo,’ like a version of brunch, just to savor their delectable Chivito, a sub with cheese, pork, egg, mayo, tomato, and lettuce.
What sets this place apart is not just the food but the entire experience. As soon as you’re seated, they bring out a delightful starter of peanuts and olives. While many opt for wine or beer, I go for water; I save my ‘drink-on’ for later in the evening.
Their menu offers a variety of bocadillos, but my go-to is the ‘Chivito medio.’ The full one can be quite filling, so I opt for the half portion. After relishing the bocadillo, they serve a comforting cup of coffee. And the best part? All of this comes at an incredibly reasonable price of 7.50 euros.
For ‘almuerzo,’ I occasionally indulge in their ‘Crema et.’ It’s a delightful concoction of coffee with rum and a subtle hint of lime, elegantly ignited. It’s a true treat for the palate and adds another layer of charm to the experience.
I can’t emphasize enough how much I adore this place. The food is nothing short of divine. If you happen to visit during lunchtime, they offer a three-course menu with a multitude of tempting options. And let’s not forget their desserts, which are simply to die for!
Not only is it a personal favorite, but whenever I have guests from other countries, I make sure to bring them here to experience the culinary delights. In fact, here’s a photo of me, my wife, and her dad and sister who were visiting us...
