If I could award negative stars I would. By some distance this was the worst meal I have ever had. First impressions were mostly favourable - located in a quiet side street, with simple, “traditional” decor - whitewashed walls, green trim on the windows, plain wooden tables and chairs. But don’t be fooled. This place - I hesitate to call it a restaurant - is neither cheap nor cheerful. Barely had we ordered when our food arrived at the table. Allegedly, fillets of white fish. They looked nothing like any fillet of fish I had ever seen, so I immediately checked with the waiter, who confirmed that what was on our plates was the fish we and ordered. As for the taste, there was none worth mentioning. The texture was very chewy, which makes me wonder: I see from other reviews that this place has a track record of substituting ingredients. It’s not impossible that we might have been served rabbit… The wine looked and tasted like vinegar. The salad was limp, the Canarian potatoes barely lukewarm.

And the worst part of it is, the establishment knows it is screwing its clients. When we asked for the bill with our servings still almost fully intact, the waitress didn’t bat an eyelid.

Grim. Truly dreadful. Possibly the worst restaurant...

Ресторан привернув нашу увагу незвичним інтер'єром та не високими цінами в меню, замовили: Rancho Canario - іншого слова, як помиї добрати не можу, можливо у важкі часи це була добра їжа, але не сьогодні; Ensalada - так звана в Іспанії ensalada mixta була на висоті, плюс додають до неї цілий авокадо; Chocos - підсмажені кальмарчики политі соусом, їсти не можливо через запах не промитих, не свіжих кальмарів; Carne de cabra - можна назвати "кісточки кози", в незрозумілому кислому соусі, 80% це кістки, м'ясо жорстке, присутня шерсть, їсти можна, але десь в полі :) ; Papas arrugadas - запечена в солі картопля в мундирі з типовими канарськими соусами , подають як додаток до основних страв, зіпсути не можливо; Vino 🍷 - як біле так і червоне складають враження, що їх розбавили водою, або це вино з tetra-pak. Коли попросили рахунок, то нікого не здивувало що три страви залишились недоторканими, що у більшості ресторанів Іспанії, було б образливим для закладу. Даний ресторан відвідувати НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ! Навіть, якщо бачите, що такі самі як ми купились на його інтер'єр і присутність клієнтів, котрі як і ми наступного разу оминатимуть його, як поганий досвід, та щоб не псувати собі враження від чудових краєвидів.

El restaurante nos llamó la atención por su inusual interior y no altos precios en el menú, pedimos: Rancho Canario - en otras palabras, no puedo dejar de comer, quizás en tiempos difíciles era buena comida, pero hoy no; Ensalada - la llamada ensalada mixta en España estaba en su apogeo, además de agregar un aguacate entero; Chocos: calamares tostados rociados con salsa, es imposible comerlos por el olor a calamares sin lavar, no frescos; Carne de cabra: puedes llamar "huesos de cabra", en una salsa agria incomprensible, el 80% son huesos, la carne es dura, hay lana, puedes comer, pero en algún lugar del campo :); Papas arrugadas - patatas asadas a la sal en uniforme con salsas típicas canarias, servidas como complemento de los platos principales, imposible de estropear; Vino 🍷: tanto el blanco como el rojo dan la impresión de que se diluyeron con agua o con un vino de tetra-pak. Cuando se le pidió una factura, a nadie le extrañó que los tres platos se mantuvieran intactos, lo que en la mayoría de los restaurantes españoles sería ofensivo para la institución. ¡NO RECOMIENDO visitar este restaurante! One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The place itself feels like a complete dive — poorly maintained and uninviting. As for the staff (possibly the owner himself), I’ve rarely met someone so unprofessional. His overly "friendly" yet aggressive attitude came across as pushy and invasive, making the entire experience uncomfortable. That forced friendliness was anything but genuine and bordered on harassment.

The food? Absolutely terrible. The so-called Canarian soup arrived half spilled in the bowl, and the grilled cheese was simply awful — rubbery, tasteless, and barely edible. Frankly, I struggle to think of a worse meal I’ve paid for.
