Unfortunately, not recommended for tourists. You get treated like nothing. I went there especially just to sit in a café and have something to eat. The café itself looks fine, but the staff was totally unfriendly and rude.

I even asked for a bread without guacamole, but with a different sauce instead. I had even translated it on my phone into Spanish so I could show it to them. But I was just met with a LOUD “No, no, no.” They didn’t pay any attention to me and simply ignored me. I wasn’t helped at all.

And then I got my dish completely dry. Instead of helping me and asking what exactly I wanted, they just ignored me. After that, I didn’t even have any appetite left.

I regret the money I spent there, including the tip. What kind of service is that? Tourists don’t even stand a chance to eat there. I didn’t like the food either. It tasted just like the coffee. I ordered an alternative, but I didn’t get it the way I wanted.

The service definitely needs a lot of improvement. Very, very disappointing that I went all the way there for...

No miento si digo que esta ha sido nuestra mejor experiencia en una cafetería hasta el momento. Aquí va el porqué... Al contrario de las cafeterías de especialidad de las capitales, aquí se cuida todo al último detalle. Hasta las tazas son hechas por una ceramista a mano con un diseño acordado entre la artista y la dueña de la cafetería. Además, la madera donde sirven las bebidas también tiene el detalle del nombre de la cafetería. Se nota que es un negocio familiar y cada miembro tiene pasión por lo que hace. Esta cafetería es definitivamente una joyita. Hicimos un menú Brunch Namasté (18€) que incluye focaccia, bebida fría, café y dulce. Escogimos las focaccia alla Norma, que está fuera de carta. Madre mía, ¡qué delicia! Petición para que se convierta en una clásica del menú: berenjena, burrata ahumada, albahaca, pesto, tomate seco. Y la focaccia, que ellos hacen allí mismo, vaya fermentación, qué textura y sabor... Vienen tan cargaditas de ingredientes que tuvimos que echarle mano a los cubiertos porque las manos no daban para más. Nos quedamos bien satisfechos y llenos con ellas, tamaño correcto para Brunch o comida. El zumo de naranja natural, muy bueno. La cerveza rubia "Lucía La Salve", muy suave, la recomendamos. Acabamos con el toque dulce de los cafés y las cookies de doble chocolate y pistacho, también hechas allí mismo. Le dan un punto de calor, son abiscochadas, nada empalagosas, top! El café de especialidad de un tostador de Valladolid estaba riquísimo. La presentación con el cartel del origen, y los detalles como el cortado y el café con hielo para echar la leche al gusto es lo que hacen esta cafetería algo especial. Mención especial al café con leche con hielo (cargo extra al menú). Sin duda, recomiendo esta cafetería para comer o desayunar a cualquiera que visite Gijón. El servicio y el personal es ya lo que hace de la experiencia un momento de lo más confortable. Los dueños, ellos mismos son los que sirven, son súper amables y humildes. Muy atentos y serviciales. Ojalá tuviéramos lugares con tanto encanto y mimo por Barcelona. Mucha suerte a este proyecto hecho con tanto...

Love the coffee first and foremost ... and believe me I´ve tried every option, but the atmosphere and staff are what makes us keep coming back! Roz, Oscar and their mum are always so friendly and welcoming that it´s now mine and my husband's hotspot to go to for their great food 🤤, with a healthy twist, and guaranteed good coffee. My husband is a bit of a coffee nerd, and he now refuses to go anywhere else because he knows here it´s consistently good. The atmosphere is quite chilled, and it´s fab to find a place where you can sit and actually hear your conversation. I´m definitely a fan ... I only wish the café was nearer my neighbourhood because it´d definitely be our "Central Perk"!...
