This place is like a dream. When I was a kid, I had pictures of bikes hanging on my wall. This place has those bikes actually hanging on the wall. Eurosport is playing on the TV. World Champs jerseys, Tour de France leader's jerseys, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta jerseys all hanging on the wall. The back of the booth is painted to look like a velodrome. It's a cyclist's dream.

So, we were really glad to find out that the food is also great. We had the doble smash burger and it didn't look impressive when it came out but it was delicious. The fries were something I haven't seen before, as well - cut thin and wide, they were crispy and nicely seasoned. Beer was good, dessert was good. How good was it? Well, we went back the next night for dinner and got the same stuff. Felt a little wrong to not branch out, but it was that good that we wanted it again. Was just as good the second time around. The staff were super nice and helpful, too.

The first time we were there, there were four guys who had done a ride. Their bikes were outside, covered in mud, and the guys were inside... also covered in mud. They had their dinner and left while we were still there, and the staff went over, cleaned the table, and without missing a beat, cleaned the chairs. There's being cycling friendly, and there's being 100% okay with dirty, muddy dudes making a mess on your chairs because your food is what they wanted after a big ride....

As a cyclist from Montreal, training and exploring the roads of Girona, dining at Hors Catégorie has been a highlight of my experience. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where the community gathers, where stories of the road are shared, and where the love for cycling and fine dining coexist...

This place is just amazing!!

First step inside you will see : All the details they thought about as: decoration, lighting, phone charges, bike parking, lockers, amazing showers & super cool bath rooms.

You can ask the team and they will show you around “tour” so you get to see all the place.

Their staff is super kind , they all just make you feel super welcome.

Go for breakfast, lunch, beers (amazing selection of beers) with friends or just to drink a nice coffee or healthy Juice before or after riding, even for working with your computer to spend the evening is nice!!

You will be treated as they know you, it’s a great feeling, it’s just amazing!!

I been at other places and here the quality is super good , nice products, all fresh (no supermarket food) 100% fresh and price is correct, they don’t have this typical touristic places over priced.

Plates portions are BIG !! They Serve you on the table, you don’t have to worry about making queues or standing up all the time if you need to order something else.

YOU HAVE TO VISIT THIS AMAIZNG PLACE IF YOU COME TO GIRONA!!!
