Masae-san must have made it in Granada, migrating all the way from Japan and creating a successful restaurant in town with a lot of local regulars. However, we came with craving Japanese food after a week in Spain and perhaps should think twice about choosing Granada for our Asian food stop.
The udon was bland and perhaps as good as instant udon pack you could buy in the supermarket. The tempura ten don was decent, generous in toppings, but the sauce a bit lacking. She was showcasing how to make sushi on a looped video playing around the restaurant, and we saw a lot of other guests ordering sushi, so we wanted to give it a try. It's far below the quality of supermarket sushi you could find in Asia. Overall the food is not worth it. The ambience and service staff is friendly, though, which I'd give additional...
Read moreOn of the best sushi places in Granada. However, as of December 2023 the have removed ALL non-sushi items from the menu except for ramen and tempura. Two days ago when we went back again, they had removed the chicken and salmon teriyaki and all the udon noodle dishes! Even though they served us a small salmon teriyaki tapa, it is no longer offered as a menu item. Still, my friends love their sushi. It is very professionally prepared, well presented and very flavorful...if you like sushi. Please be sure to make a...
Read moreTiny place with oishii food! Fair prices. Masae (the owner) is actually behind the bar cooking stuff.
It's always crowded so better reserve a table in advance. Actually, schedule is tight so try to finish your meal inside your assigned time slot, because take for granted that next customers will be waiting for the table when their time comes 😅
Highly recommend their yakisoba. Super flavorful, and katsuobushi flakes literally dance with the steam ♨️
PS: They have chopsticks by default at every table, but you can ask for regular cutlery haha PS2: I like they keep the japanese tradition of welcoming/yelling the customers when you enter the place. They should say it in japanese tho!...
