Restaurante Kirin — Restaurant in Granada

Ordered the chicken curry udon. It was really surprising bad. First, no toppings (cabbage, onions, scallions... Nothing. Just a bowl of curry soup with noodles). Second the "chicken" was about three tiny unappealing bits of unidentifiable chicken that had more fat than meat. Third the curry had been thickened (a lot) with gelatin and the gelatin hadn't been mixed in completely so there were strange gelatinous lumps that I ended pulling out to avoid. Lastly the udon noodles were really broken. It was shocking to be served such a sub par bowl of food in what looks to be a nice restaurant. It was not authentic to the original Japanese dish at all. Very disappointing, I won't be trying this...

A nice place for dinner and for a date The decorations are beautiful and nice. Make your eyes kind of comfortable with the color and the light ✨️ The restaurant is in the small street but large inside. The staff is friendly and can speak English. So always remember to think what you drink 🍸 before older the food cause the will ask you first. The food is great and tasty 😋 They have a QR code to look at the menu. Ya es todo un clásico de los restaurantes japoneses en la ciudad de Granada, con una estética minimalista-japonesa. Muy bien atendido con personal muy servicial y siempre atento que ofrece al comensal información y recomendaciones sobre cada uno de los platos cuando resultan extraños o poco frecuentes. El lugar es acogedor con una decoración acorde y bonita, sin mucho ruido y se suele encontrar sitio con facilidad sin necesidad de reserva previa, aunque si vas en grupo o con más gente si que es buena idea reservar previamente. Cuenta con varios menús de distintos precios así como platos a la carta muy variados. Sushi, maki, sashimi, gyozas... pescado, carne... muy recomendable la carne al horno "mongol" así como las gyozas, aunque también sushi y maki variado, para lo que recomiendo pedir variedad para probar un poco de todos. Respecto a la bebida cuenta con cerveza local, refrescos así como cerveza japonesa Saporo. Con respecto al precio quizá un poco elevado, aunque la comida es de calidad y mere la pena darse un capricho. En definitiva se trata de un restuarante japonés que poco a poco se ha ido haciendo un hueco entre otros en Granada, con un buen servicio y platos de calidad, con productos de primera.
