My husbands meal of Gammon and chips looked nice and he enjoyed his meal, unfortunately I picked Salmon and new potatoes , well to start for 11 euros the plate was small , long and thin , the new potatoes didn’t taste new at all they were dry and tasteless offered them to my husband but he said the same , the salmon looked like an Aldi special small and thin like the plate and also very dry couldn’t eat any of it took salmon home for my dog , the owner must have noticed my uneaten meal but said nothing , when he came to clear away I mentioned the dry meal he said nothing we payed and left we won’t...

I had their homemade steak pie with mashed potatoes. When it was put in front of me I though, Man vs Food, what a mountain. But, the pie filling, although plenty, was bland with little or no unctuous gravy. The gravy that was offered with thin, watery and tasteless. First visit to this little place while visiting a friend. Nice friendly staff and nice choice of light bites. I had lasagne with salad and garlic bread very tasty.
