My husband and I wanted to try some typical canarian food: papas arrugadas, el pollo en adobo canario was extraordinary, queso humado a la plancha with honey from la Palma really left an impression. Worth coming back to Lanzarote just to try it once more! Also, good thing was there was an option for kids: home made croquetas and chicken. Everything we tried was best we ever tried in Lanzarote. Read moreHad a lovely meal there this afternoon. The smashed huevos, ham and fries sounds terrible but as a meal was as good as the one I had in Barcelona. Followed my grilled smoked cheese with honey. A lovely bottle of Rioja and two cortados to finish off. Popular with the locals and thankfully I didn't hear a word of English which is great when you're visiting and don't want to hear anything about Brexit, EastEnders or what was cheap in Asda last week!

We didn't see the sign and no where else on the island have we seen that kind of set up.
I don't think bar work and dealing with customers is the job for that guy who clearly needs to find a new line of work or get with the vibe of the market and chill out.
