We went there as a group of four. Three of us just wanted to have some drinks, and one person wanted to eat. The only free table outside was a four-seater – perfect for us. The waiter, a tall, slim, bald man, immediately asked who would be ordering food. When we said that only one wanted to eat and the others would just have drinks, he told us the table was “not profitable” and forced the three of us to leave.
We were stunned. The table wasn’t reserved, it was a warm day, and the place was already busy – but that’s no excuse for such rude and arrogant behavior. Instead of showing basic hospitality or offering any alternative, he became confrontational and dismissive.
To make it even worse, the same waiter actually followed us outside onto the street and repeated his comments, which felt intrusive and unpleasant. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Read moreThis restaurant is in a beautiful pedestrianised street in the centre of Haria. A lovely location to eat and drink and relax. It is the first time we have been here and we were certainly glad we came. The service was very friendly and very attentive from the whole team. We were made to feel genuinely welcome. When the food came it was a WOW factor, the dishes looked fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. We had grilled fish, garlic prawns in sizzling garlic butter and a pork ribbed stew... we had bread and two sauces that were brought to our table, not sure what they were but were very tasty. In all, the food was 10/10.
If you visit Haria, which in itself is a lovely little town, then visit this restaurant, you will not be...
Read moreI had a very unpleasant experience today at the restaurant. While walking around and taking a photo of an interesting photo hung on the wall a waiter approached me asking quite seriously who gave me the permission to take the photo and continued how I would feel if somebody walked into my house and took a photo without my permission. I said no problem, I'll delete it, after which he said that it was a joke and I should take a seat. I said it didn't look like a joke at all. He reacted by saying that if I didn't understand it was a joke I should leave the place and do not come again!? It was completely unprovoked and actually quite rude of him. I must admit that I have never experienced...
