10/10 would to eat here again. Authentic Spanish restaurant, with good service and very good food. Waiters speak Spanish, so don't expect perfect English, but the food makes up for everything. My friend got an tournedos that was not up to expected quality, but this was solved without discussion and got replaced by the best piece they had in the restaurant (perfect quality). All of our food was of exquisite quality. After mains, the dessert was more then amazing. Honestly, the Torrijas Caramelizadas (Spanish-Style Caramelized French Toast) was so good I got a bit emotional from it's perfection! - - > honestly.. this was perfection, the rest was also amazing and in it's own right amazing! Coffee to finish it off was just icing on the cake. Advice everyone to try this out, end result of the bill, 4 people, 4 mains, 1 (nice) bottle of red wine, 4 desserts was 145eu(excluding tip)..

We found warmth and welcome at Zeria, where locally caught, fresh Pays Basque seafood is the gastronomic specialty. Usually, this restaurant is packed, but we were lucking to walk right into the al fresco dining area, where we were promptly addressed and made selections of merluza salad, octopus, monkfish, bacalao and rape ala plancha. All the dishes were served hot and at one time, all being delicious. The white wine selection, Lagar D Cervera, a local Albarino, had a robust aroma and buttery texture - perfect for spicy fish! I found the interior to be interesting with a full-sized whale vertebra on display. The restroom was clean and well appointed. Prices were about 25 euros for entrées and appetizers for a total for 4 being about 180. All told a totally enjoyable lunch of warm Basque cuisine and hospitality. We'll come again.,,and again!

We managed to get a reservation for the terrace which was really nice, it's a nice cosy restaurant which servers superbly fresh food. They have a nice mixture between seafood and meats all from the Basque area. Everything tasted nice well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The presentation lacks a bit but that's not where the focus should be. The prices are reasonable for what you get, might be expensive for some but it's worth it. The services was nice, friendly attentive and welcoming.

My husband summed it up perfectly: holy Hondarribia that's good. We shared a leisurely late lunch of 3 starters -- tomato salad, local anchovies, octopus. Each one was perfectly executed and utterly delicious. The tomatoes were simply done with good olive oil and some sliced onion. The local anchovies, also in olive oil, were cured to pure salty goodness. The octopus was in a red pepper cream sauce that I wanted a gallon of. We finished with a piece of cheesecake that was creamy and not too sweet. The service was very kind and especially tolerant of our nonexistent Spanish, and the meal was perfectly paced -- one dish thoughtfully following another, from lighter to richer, not rushed but we never felt ignored. We sat outside on the pedestrian street which was busy-ish...
