El Faro — Restaurant in Ibiza

Terrible service. After waiting 15 minutes to order, the High Price of the food recieved did NOT match the standard at all. We waited 1.5 hour total before recieving both starter and main. The worst part was the terrible service, from an uninterested male waiter, who ignored our wish to get the Bill. We waited 10 minutes before asking another waitress for the Bill. She brought the bill straight away dislike the male waiter. To top things off, there was added 10% on top of the bill because of a tax system called I.M.V - a very smart trick for using on tourists, which we found out the hard way. I do NOT recommend going to this place at all. Mediocre food for high pricing, tooped with terrible service.

Update: The time is now 04,26 and i'm up due to a bad stomach, most likely coming from this place. I've nearly been up for 30 minutes, and i've been to the toilet, along with puking twice. I feel totally scammed by having paid 60 Euro's for something which has...

Absolutely brilliant beautiful restaurant. Super friendly, welcoming and good service. The food was amazing! The terrace is like a little paradise: under the luscious green cooling trees with a first line view on the harbor with all little lights enjoying the superb delicious food! We had ordered various dishes and every one of them was so tasty. Especially the 3 different paella’s!!! All combined with this super tasty cava-sangria. i went there now a few times and el faro is still keeping its promises. good food in a pitoresque ambiente by the harbour for a very reasonable price. but the unique treat of this place is the staff and the owner mercedes, who are so nice and sweet and deliver a great service - so different than in most other places in ibiza. and if you are an ioiza regular, you know what im talking about. i can absolutely...
