Peter Pan Eivissa — Restaurant in Ibiza

We found our meal disappointing after seeing all the good reviews on here, I’m confused at how it has got so many, maybe because it is slightly on the cheaper side for Ibiza town?

We ordered the pork gnocchi and the seafood carbonara, the carbonara was supposed to have capers in it, there were in total 2 capers, there was also hardly any fish in it and only a very slight flavour of the lemon making it bland, so it’s 19 euro for some plain shop bought pasta that I could make better at home. The gnocchi was nicer but there were only 4 pieces of pork which were 80% bone as you can see in the photo, again I could make far better at home and a packet of gnocchi is like a euro. Aside from the food the service was good and the waiter very friendly, I mentioned the lack of meat when he asked if it was good but I’m not sure he understood me or ignored it. It's the first time I give a 1-star review but I had to do it. 10 of us came here for a dinner with friends and had the worst customer experience ever. Working staff is on the edge of a burnout and they pass this unwelcoming feeling to you. Just to give some details they stocked out everything and had only 3 plates to serve for dinner. We waited more than 1 hour from ordering to start getting our food and the overall treatment was terrible. Icing on the cake the price: for one plate of pasta, a glass of the cheapest wine and a slice of salmon carpaccio was nearly 45 pp (and no it's not quality ingredients) If you wanna eat well and feel welcome do not come here. The best restaurant you will go to in Ibiza! The tuna tartare was so good it melted in your mouth. Best I’ve had in the world. The pasta is fresh and to die for… mixed with your favorite seafood. The staff was amazing and Italian so you know you’re getting the best of the best. I went with my cousin from Italy and she approved it too. When we went there was not many people so it was efficient but they are small kitchen with one chef so if it’s busy give them time (you are in Europe after all!). Prices are beyond reasonable.
