Restaurante Blavós — Restaurant in Ibiza

Unfortunately, I have to take the time to leave a review after a disappointing experience. The place lacks organization, communication, and professionalism. We sat down at a dirty table without menus, and only after asking did the waiter clean it and bring three menus. We ordered three beers and a plate of nachos, which were supposed to include mince meat, beans, guacamole, tomato sauce, pico de gallo, mascarpone cream, jalapeños, and melted cheese.

After 35 minutes, a waiter approached to ask if we had received our food—only to realize the kitchen had “lost the order.” He blamed the kitchen staff, saying they do whatever they want. Ten minutes later, the nachos finally arrived, missing the meat, beans, and with barely any cheese. When we questioned this, another waitress admitted that ingredients depend on what’s available and even said, “Lucky you didn’t get the meat because it’s not good at all.” Again, the kitchen was blamed.

Throughout the meal, staff repeatedly shared their frustrations about the restaurant’s problems, making it clear they weren’t happy working there. Instead of handling issues professionally, they kept venting to us about the lack of management and kitchen problems, which only added to the unpleasant experience.

When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told there wasn’t one on duty. The staff kept passing blame, making the whole place feel disorganized and unprofessional. We didn’t finish the nachos and sent them back, yet they weren’t removed from the bill.

The only positive? The beer was cold and good. Two stars for that, but we won’t be returning. Hopefully, they get things in order before the...

Feeling dissapointed after our visit as it is a clean restaurant with nice interior and you can tell they invest in their produce and have ambitions. However they do not know how to prepare the food.

Ordered the sirloin medium rare. The meat was cut unprofessionally leaving it looking like a wedge, one side thin and the other thick. The thin side was well done while the thick part was rare. The potato slices it came with were undercooked and even completely raw. We complained and got the slices replaced, not the whole dish. The esparagus was on the otherhand overcooked stringy and chewey.

Restaurante Blavós Ibiza was a major letdown. We were a group of 11 and ordered 4 paellas for 8 people but received only 1, which was divided into tiny portions. When we asked about the missing paellas, they said that was all we would get. We also ordered 4 sangrias but were served only 3 initially and had to wait 15 minutes for the fourth one.
