Alo Restaurante Ibiza — Restaurant in Ibiza

We had dinner in this restaurant but we did not like it so much. The look if the restaurant was really pretty but the food was not so tastefull. We ordered a starter and main and I think we finished both in about an hour even though we asked to wait with te main course so not a relaxed dinner. We asked this to two people inclusing the chef! We had the feeling that there was something going on because we overheard there was something wrong with te food at antoher table and after that the chef was nervously walking trough the restaurant many times like he was angry. I asked for an alcohol free drink and the only option was an mojito mocktail which was fine for me. I received this in an really small glass with i think 3 really large ice cubes and needed to pay 10 euro's! Quite expensive. I really don't think waiters should must were uniforms but maybe not pink/black sportleggings. This does not match with the look of...

We have our house close to this restaurant and finally we had time to go and find out what they serve. From the outside it looks really nice and thats why its always took our attention.

Once we we’re in, you will see that the restaurant also have an amazing view.

The waitresses we’re ok, but not very friendly. We ordered a sangria and here it started. In the sangria they put cloves. Nice for a Glühwein in the winter, but in sangria? It tasted horrible.

The focaccia bread we ordered was thin and very hard baked. My salad with chicken was tasteless and the ceasar dressing tasted awful. The chicken was not flavored at all. 0.0%.

We also had Cantaloupe melon, raw ham and buffalo mozzarella. The melon was very hard so not ripe. The raw ham and mozzarella were from a cheap quality.

Nobody ever came to the table to ask if everything was ok, they didn’t pay attention to nothing and...

Pessimo!

All'inizio siamo rimasti colpiti dalla spettacolare vista mare che questo locale offre, peccato sia stata l'unica cosa positiva di questa cena. Io e mio marito abbiamo ordinato due antipasti (arrivati dopo 40 minuti) e due primi (arrivati dopo un'ora e mezza dagli antipasti, e il locale non era neanche pieno). Mio marito ha ordinato un primo con ragù di PESCE (come indicato nel loro menù) e gli é arrivato un primo con ragù di CARNE. Quando, dopo aver cercato di richiamare l'attenzione dei camerieri che sembravano fare finta di non vederci, abbiamo fatto notare l'errore ci é stato detto che abbiamo sbagliato noi a chiedere le tagliatelle anziché le pappardelle dato che per loro "le tagliatelle sono al ragù di CARNE e le pappardelle al ragù di PESCE"(cit.) Tralasciando l'assurdità della spiegazione, quando però ci hanno presentato il conto ci sono state addebitate proprio le pappardelle col PESCE! (quindi avevamo comunicato correttamente l'ordinazione e l'errore é stato fatto da loro dopo, come non si sa). Ora, tralasciando l'incomprensione e che molto probabilmente la cucina questa sera fosse in difficoltà, trovo davvero spiacevole che il cliente dopo aver atteso diverse ore per un piatto, debba richiamare l'attenzione dei camerieri con insistenza per chiedere qualcosa e che venga incolpato di un errore non suo e per di più (dopo che il personale del locale ha riconosciuto lo sbaglio...ci sono stati offerti due chupiti...) gli venga comunque addebitato il prezzo di un piatto che non é mai arrivato.
