Pizzeria Los Clandestinos — Restaurant in La Línea de la Concepción

Visited a week ago and had the worst experience I have had in a while. I decided to try this place as the quality of food looked very promising when searching for a pizzeria. The food was really good indeed but the service could improve notably. I went with my partner and we sat on the terrace, next to the building facade. While we were waiting for the food we saw a cockroach going up the wall next to us. I stood up quickly and the waitress asked what was wrong. When I told her the situation she didn't apologize nor offered us to sit somewhere else, she only said that it's summer and there are lots of cockroaches everywhere. After seeing a second one going up the wall again we decided to sit inside before the food arrived (without air conditioning) as I didn't want to eat in such an environment. The food was really good as I said earlier but I was very disappointed by the way the staff handled the situation. They didn't offer any solution or a discount. Came here as a solo diner for dinner. Sat outside around sunset and could not find a comfortable table that either was not blasting my eyes or making me sit facing into the construction zone and dumpster in the alley. The inside was too hot to sit in.

Ordered the vegetarian pizza. The pie came out so fast, it didn't seem like the dough or sauce was cooked. The large pizza was presented on a small dinner plate and the waiter handed me a pizza cutter to cut it myself. This was not only rude, but impossible to use so on the miniature plate.

The pizza toppings were extremely basic for a supreme veggie pie and made no real flavor to the dish.

They were also trying to push more expensive bottled beers on me, thinking I was a tourist, than giving me cheaper, better draft options.

Can I rate this place with 12 stars for the food? Honestly one of the best pizza I’ve ever had and I travel the world since I was 14 years old. I don’t know how they do it but there is definitely umami on the plate. I ordered Pan de ajo con verduras asadas and it was an absolute perfection.
