Although we booked a table for 1:30 we didn't get our paella for 45 minutes. In the begining the atmosphere was ok but once it started to get a bit busy it got quite hot, plus the kitchen door was wide open and all the fumes went to the main eating space, making it quite unpleasant. When we finally got the paella I thought it was black rice as it was darker than any paella I've had in my life, and believe me, I've had many, most of them in Valencia and La Albufera. I asked the waitress if that was what I ordered and she was a bit dry as she said "of course it's paella" That being said the rice was tasty, meat was dry and quantity was scarce, making it quite too expensive for what it was. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend to be fair.

Paella was too salty but still ok. Overall we found it overpriced. 20 euros per person for a seafood paella, and we were highly advised to take rather expensive starters because "it takes long to cook", but not to share one though because "it's just for one person" so we ended up eating too much and paying way too much for bread cheese and rice. For the first time in my life I've been charged an extra for bread, let alone after ordering 12 euros worth of cheese... 23 euros a bottle of wine is also quite expensive according to Spanish standards. Not to mention they waited until the middle of the meal to let us know they couldn't accept credit cards tonight and that we'd have to walk several hundred meters to get cash.

I can’t praise this restaurant enough! What an amazing place to be, to eat and to be happy. From a very homely feel and a warm welcome, a cozy and cute decor, the lovely staff (your smiles make me smile), to the absolute spot-on paella de marisco. Madre mia que ricoooooo! La mejor paella de marisco que ya comí en toda mi vida (y ya comí muchas jaja). Even the chef came to the table to bring us some complimentary olives and she was so nice and she smelled soooo amazing (I would expect a kitsch smell haha). I booked a table for another day and I would come back to Fuerteventura only to eat here :) Well done guys! I wish you all the best and success!

Last year we were in this restaurant by recommendation and it was amazing. Good food, nice drinks, nice atmosphere and good service - even the cook came to talk to us.

So we went back - and had some expectations. It was terrible, from the start. We wanted to order 2 paellas, like last year. But were told we can only order 1 per group. The lady even said that things are changing - but I guess for the worse. And I've just started. Then we wanted sangria, like last year, but now you can only order the whole bottle for 18€, but we'd like to have just 2 glases. OK, so no sangria. We wanted wine and she told us they only have 1 wine. So ok, bring it and the boy pours it like for tasting - but it's the only one you have. My wife was tasting and said OK, but the wine was low key bad. Disappointed about only 1 paella, we at least knew what to expect. We were waiting for this moment since we left our country a week ago. We get the food... and it's like a bad risotto. We even didn't finish it all, because you know, when the food is bad you're kind of fed up. We just wanted to pay and go. And the final price was about 50% more than last year. For an absolute disgrace of the food. At home we made some sandwiches. I understand you want to make more money, but you did it in the way to ruin the food, the drinks and the feeling of the...

We went here on a recommendation to try the seafood paella and although not overflowing with seafood the taste was excellent. The only thing that will stop us going again is the fact that we asked by name as well as pointing out to the waitress for the cheapest wine on the menu 3.50 per glass.when it arrived we were so impressed that I ordered a bottle , again by name (casal de barca ) which we drank .it was only when the bill came that I noticed that the wine price was 6 euro per glass and the bottle was 26 euro . Don't get me wrong the wine was good but no way would I have paid that amount. They obviously didn't have the one I ordered but at no time was I informed and given a choice to choose an alternative I didn't complain as they obviously knew what they had done, I just won't return. We are not tourists here and I spoke and ordered in Spanish so no miscommunication involved. Just beware.Total cost...

We ordered table for today and when we arrive, the service didn't have the table for us, but we received the booking confirmation yesterday. When the service managed to find table for us, me and my wifr wanted the Paella, which with crabs (we mentioned that during booking the table and we received the confirmation). They didn't have the Paella which we wanted, so we ordered seafood paella. For a drink we wanted 2 glasses of sangria, but instead of 2 glasses, they gave us 1 bottle, we asked for swapping the bottle of 2 glasses, but the service didn't do nothing. After 1 hour of waiting of our dinner, finally arrived "the famous" sea food paella. The rice was overcooked (taste like cheap rice from lidl) and whole dish was too salty. The dinner was disgusting. The taste was worse, than paella from tourist places. I Totally overpriced and not worth it! Don't...
