When I visited, the service truly stood out. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring every request was met with a smile. Even though I arrived without a reservation and the place was fully booked, they arranged a table for us in just 10–15 minutes. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made the experience even more enjoyable.

The menu is impressive—focused on healthy, fresh, and lovingly prepared dishes. I started with a few appetizers, including a perfectly cooked octopus bun and refreshing prawn summer rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious, and sharing the dishes made the experience even more delightful. The cocktail menu was equally exciting, with a great selection of local-inspired creations that paired perfectly with the food.

I was so impressed with my dinner experience that I returned the next morning for breakfast at 9 a.m. The quality, atmosphere, and welcoming vibe were just as incredible as the night before. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

Surfescape's Restaurant, Secret Garden, is an absolute gem. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of tropical greens and relaxation. This hidden paradise is my favourite place on the island.

It has the coolest atmosphere, I feel instantly transported to a tropical paradise of luscious greens when I step inside. It truly feels like a secret garden. It's a great place for a gathering with friends, or a solo escape to unwind and disconnect from the outside world.

The vibes at Secret Garden are unmatched. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. You'll instantly feel like you're among friends, and their passion for food and hospitality shines through in every aspect of the experience.

The menu....it's nothing short of incredible. The chefs at Secret Garden have created a menu that caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast, a vegetarian, a meat lover, or a vegan, you'll find fresh, locally sourced ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. I am so pumped they are open for dinner now... meaning they also have an impressive selection of cocktails and wines. Their mixologists are skilled at creating both classic and innovative cocktails. I highly recommend this place! From the first moment we knew we were in the right place. Overall the area feels very cozy, fragrant and clean. We arrived without a reservation on a Monday and the guys from the service (I forgot to ask for their names) were very friendly and welcoming. They warned us that on Mondays and Tuesdays it is usually very busy as many restaurants in Lajares are closed on these days and we need a reservation. However, they had no problem adding us to the waiting list and within half an hour we had a table. The food was on the table really quickly and was truly exceptional. In my opinion, it is a mix of Indonesian and Asian cuisine, which offers a lot of interesting flavors. Thank you for the great service and for the great food, we really enjoyed our dinner and even though we had to wait a while, it was really worth it.
