The Sports Bar Corralejo — Restaurant in La Oliva

I originally gave 3 stars but changed as you read on you will see why. As a sports bar, it's great lots of different tvs showing different sports. Service though is slow and drinks expensive for Corralejo.

Learn to read I did not write there was table service or that I waited or expected it. The Slow service was at the bar because you were understaffed, and the behind bar layout is set up by someone who has no idea what they are doing. Ice in the chest freezer by the door instead of behind the bar on a HOT ISLAND near the equater. The other bars I was referring to were a mixture of types that are all cheaper. Some are a bit others greatly. Having visited many of them. Why do you believe that because you are English and not Spanish, you deserve to charge more for what you sell? Because you put a bit of cheap AstroTurf on the wall and have a few more tvs? As for high rent. What a grasping, made-up excuse. A lot of units the same of yours charge reasonable prices and if it is too high move???? Instead of ripping people off. Clearly, a made review is another type of comment you seem to give people who don't give you 4 or 5 stars. Take some constructive criticism as it was meant instead of lashing out like a child. If you don't like the Spanish, why did you move there?

This is what I didn't say on my review. You want to go somewhere full of brits abroa. Come here. As you can see by the owners comments, that's what he caters to. If you want to go on holiday but stay in England go here. If not go somewhere else. Which is why I stayed for 1 drink and left because my accent really seemed to annoy the owner. Where do I start, we came across this family run bar by accident. It’s located in a stunning area of the strip next to a amazing court yard that has markets , thus making a great day trip to visit this bar. From the second we walked in we felt at home , great banter , relaxed atmosphere and best pint in futureventura. The big man himself that runs the bar was second to none and feels like we were part of the local family. All the staff and locals went out there way to talk to us and offer advice on where to visit. I can honestly say that in all the places we visited on holiday as a widespread family we all agreed that this was by far the best bar we have been to. Family entertainment night was such a crack , bingo also has a twist to it which further reflects the nature of what the team are trying to implement in there bar. I can’t say a bad word a bout this amazing family and bar. Oh wait I can , the only thing I would change was the gaffer supporting the blues😂. 30 of us decided to go to Corralejo for Christmas. Our group ranged from 2 years old to 55 year old. We go all over the place and this was personally my 11th holiday of 2023 - and the Sports Bar made it the best! Chris and his family / team made us feel like it was our local! They bent over backwards from the minute we first messaged to book in for Christmas Eve. The bar really is a lovely little friendly bar, big screens on every wall, the bar staff are flat out to make sure no one is stood queuing at the bar, entertainment was top notch even had the quieter ones of the group up singing and dancing, the kids were made to feel welcome and the minute there was a tired eye the bar staff were over with pillows and blankets. Iv never felt compelled to write a review for a bar before but these guys really made our holiday. It's not on the main drag - but beats every other bar in Corralejo hands down!
