La Eminencia — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

By far our favorite café in Las Palmas. Excellent, home cooked food. The staff are super attentive and so friendly. When in Las Palmas we eat lunch here most days, and always have a few evening beers here too. It's a great local café, serving menu of the day every day, which is wonderful value. They also do tapas and sandwiches/baguettes, again all of which are great value. Víctor and his staff do a great job. José (El Rubio) is a character, looks after us always, and likes to dance in between!! 😂🤣 It's an excellent traditional Spanish café. It's well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed! We were out walking on our first full day here (been here a few years ago for only 6 days).... we walked by this Cafe and decided to get a drink.... then looked at the menu (everyone was eating)..

We decided to order. We got the 3 Tapas (Fabada, estofado and papas arrugadas). OMG, the food was outstanding and HOT (temperature)!!!! Just the right amount of food!!!! Super tender meat and very well seasoned! They do bring out bread and it is added onto the total (€. 50)

Spanish old style cafe. Wonderful flavoured food. Great friendly staff, fish sandwiches were phenomenal and the owner cooked us some fried eggs to accompany the sandwiches which were not included on the menu, definitely return here. Good honest flavourful food at...
